y.gy to create thousands of custom links, and then analyze the traffic on each
one of them, figuring out exactly what gets clicked on and what's best for

link, they are redirected to the long URL. Link shorteners are used to make

For how long will my links stay active?

Your link will stay active forever. We never expire links, unless you want them
to. We never delete links, except for the case of abusive content.

Why did y.gy build a link shortener?

We built our link shortener to support our business at getwaitlist.com, which is
a referral marketing service. Our own referral URLs at getwaitlist were becoming
really long, so we needed a link shortener. And we knew that a link shortener
would be useful as a standalone product because of the link tracking/analytics
capabilities.
