Huawei and Pinggao Group extend their global partnership
[Munich, May 11, 2022] Huawei Digital Power and Pinggao Group Co., Ltd have
signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), to further strengthen their
cooperation, with regards to the supply of innovative and reliable Huawei string
inverters, for PV plants in Balkan regions included but not limited to Greece,
Bulgaria and North Macedonia.

Meinergy Signs Agreement with Huawei on a 1 GW and 500 MWh Project to Facilitate
Green Development of Ghana
[Barcelona, Spain] Huawei Digital Power Technologies Co., Ltd. (hereinafter
referred to as Huawei Digital Power) signed a strategic cooperation agreement
with Meinergy Technology Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred to as Meinergy), the
leading PV developer in West Africa. Under the agreement, Huawei Digital Power
will provide a complete smart PV & energy storage system (ESS) solution for the
1 GW utility-scale PV plant and 500 MWh ESS project developed by Meinergy in
Ghana.

Please upgrade your FusionSolar App！Impact Of FusionSolar Smart PV Management
System Capacity Expansion and Upgrade on FusionSolar App Users（For Europe）
To improve the access capability of the FusionSolar Smart PV Management System,
the system needs to be expanded and upgraded, which is expected to be
implemented on December 25, 2021. To ensure that services are not affected, you
need to upgrade the FusionSolar app to 5.7.059 or later in advance to adapt to
the system after capacity expansion. FusionSolar 5.7.059 has been released on
Huawei AppGallery and App Store on November 10, 2021.

Building a Low-carbon, Smart Society with Technological Innovation
At the virtual TrustInTech Summit 2021 hosted by Huawei on December 2, 2021, Hou
Jinlong, Senior Vice President of Huawei and President of Huawei Digital Power,
delivered a speech themed “Building a Low-carbon, Smart Society with
Technological Innovation”. Hou said, “Over the next 30 to 40 years, we will
continue to see intelligence and low carbon gain traction. Going intelligent
requires digital technologies, while decreasing our carbon footprint requires
power electronics technologies. As these trends progress, the global energy
industry will change from resource-dependent to technology-driven.”

How the Sun Revitalized This Landscape, Community & Economy
The province of Qinghai is named after China's largest salt lake, Qinghai Lake,
which means bluish green sea in Chinese. The cities and prefectures around
Qinghai Lake are conveniently named Haidong, Hainan, Haixi, and Haibei,
referring to the east, south, west, and north of the lake, respectively. In
November 2020, Qinghai attracted global attention following the completion of
two renewable energy bases in Hainan and Haixi, each capable of generating over
10 million kilowatts of green power.
