Situated at the heart of the village, we offer day-to-day essentials, locally sourced and grown produce, and a sociable hub for local information. SUNDAY 26TH MARCH – BRITISH SUMMERTIME BEGINS Remember to put your clocks forward. EASTER RAFFLE For every multiple of £10 that you spent in the shop you will be offered a free raffle ticket. On Good Friday April 7th the winner of the hamper will be drawn. DUCKS – COMING SOON Look out for the knitted ducks contacting a small Easter Egg THE POST OFFICE IS NOW AN AMAZON HUB The Post Office is now able to receive and return Amazon Hub orders. To collect a parcel you need to bring the barcode that Amazon sent to you. To return items the QR code is needed, this will be scanned and a returns label printed. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED We’re especially keen to recruit some younger volunteers, you may give as much or little of your time as you are able. This is an easy way to gain work experience which looks great on a CV, or could count towards a Duke of Edinburgh award. Full training will be given for all which may include parents as you need to be over 18 to volunteer alone. Come along to the AGM or let the shop know your interest for someone to get back to you. 2023 GRANTS UCS provides grants to its community’s charitable organisations for projects or equipment that will benefit Uley and Owlpen residents.
