Today marks an important milestone in the ongoing development of HolonIQ's
Intelligence Platform. The 1H 2021 release is influenced by hundreds of customer
suggestions and feedback we received through 2020. Behind the scenes, it also
represents a significant improvement to the underlying architecture and
technology stack, to support an ambitious platform roadmap.

The 1H release will roll out in full over the month of June and we'll update
this note as we go. Your account manager is available to walk through the key
user experience changes and to hear your feedback, suggestions and ideas to
power the product roadmap for 2H 2021 and beyond.

Welcome to Developments! HolonIQ has now indexed hundreds of thousands of
signals and news articles, so we needed to find a new way to surface important
strategic market developments.

Over the next few weeks, you will discover our new Developments Timeline. The
timeline maps developments classified into 10 categories and three impact
levels, minor, medium and major.



You can hover over a development to learn more, zoom into explore a shorter time
period and click on a specific development to learn more.

The Intelligence Unit has started working through our backlog to build out our
developments coverage.

We look forward to your feedback.

DARK MODE MEMORY

 


IMPROVEMENT

 

 

The platform will now remember if you have Dark Mode turned on (SHIFT+D), so
that the next time you visit the platform on that device, you will start with
the same experience where you left off.

We built Dark mode into the platform from the very first page. Dark Mode has
become increasingly popular over the past three to five years, and it does come
with many great benefits.

It improves readability of text when in a low light environment, less flicker,
less blue light, can save small amounts of electricity and is better for battery
life.

Dark Mode is also very popular for the Insights Studio for detailed
visualizations where the colors deliver greater brightness and contrast on a
dark background.

SUBMITTING NEW TOPICS

When you would like HolonIQ to add something to the platform that you cannot
find, just Submit the item through the platform and it will be added within 24
hours.

The plus button (shown below), in the top-right menu bar will bring up a form to
add the item.



Pick the type of item you would like to submit, add a URL and any remarks to
help the data team identify the correct item.



You can add an organization, a person, a deal, a new report, dataset or event.
Whatever the item, include a website, social media profile and any remarks to
help the team identify the item.

When the team has added the item, you will receive a platform notification.
