Award winning Wine Bar & Italian Restaurant Now Doing Home Delivery BOOK TABLE FOOD DELIVERY WINE DELIVERY Award winning Wine Bar & Italian Restaurant BOOK TABLE FOOD DELIVERY WINE DELIVERY OUR PHILOSOPHY ITALIAN FAMILY SHARING SPIRIT The food at 121BC is made in the spirit of Italian family style, substantial share-plates, caring cooking and hand-made breads, pastas, gelati & cheeses. Produce is sourced from local organic growers and sustainable seafood suppliers. We use organic Australian meat. We are a wine bar as well as a restaurant. We have over 100 bottles of wine in our wine list. They are all Italian and mostly natural organic and some biodynamic wine. We buy a lot of our wine directly from the wine makers in Italy and we are one fewer restaurant who buy our own wine. The list is compile by both the proprietor and our sommelier with a lot thought and passion. They travel the vineyards across Italy where he meets with producers to source artisanal, minimal intervention wines. We stock regionally specific wines made from indigenous grape varieties. The growing and wine-making principles range from natural to organic and biodynamic. Intense aromas of sweet violets, blackberries and cherries, smoky, volcanic soil, peppery spices. Full-bodied, elegant and well-balanced, good finishing. The palate is rich and velvet with good acidity. Medium finishing. VENETO • ITALY 2010 VIGNAIOLI CONTRÀ SOARDA ‘VIGNACOREJO’ VENEZIE PINOT NERO Ruby Red with a garnet highlights. Fragrant aromas of pepper, cloves, mature cherry and berry fruits. Fully reflective of the vineyard. A medium-bodied wine with a dry, complex yet elegant palate, with a long, mineral finishing.
