FARLEIGH CAMPING

FARLEIGH CAMPING IS A FRIENDLY, RELAXED AND RUSTIC CAMPSITE SITUATED IN SOUTH
DEVON.

Surround yourself with nature in our peaceful fields. We have beautiful far
reaching views of Dartmoor with swallows and skylarks gliding and singing
serenely overhead. Add to this stunning sunsets over Dartmoor and clear, starry
skies at night. We have peace and tranquility yet without being too far away
from, amongst other places, the quirky, bustling, bohemian town of Totnes and
the serenity of Dartmouth. Our local pub, serving great food, is only a short
walk from the campsite.

LOCAL ATTRACTIONS

BEACHES

We are very close to many well known beautiful beaches such as Bantham, Bigbury,
Slapton and Blackpool Sands. We can also share our local knowledge with you of
some secret gems off the beaten track.

ACTIVITIES

For hiking, biking and wild swimming, the open spaces of Dartmoor National Park
are less than half an hour away and less than two miles away is the River
Avon... a wild swimming dream!

The River Dart and Salcombe estuaries are great for river trips, paddle boarding
and kayaking/canoeing.

NEARBY TOWNS

Totnes, Kingsbridge (recently named as the best town to live in in the UK) and
Dartmouth are all within only seven miles. Totnes is host to many thriving
cafes, pubs and independent shops, and also hosts an amazing open air market
which takes place every Friday and Saturday.

Dartmouth has beautiful river views and a thriving town centre. Kingsbridge,
sitting at the end of Salcombe estuary has great riverside pubs that offer
fantastic paddle board facilities.

LOCAL EATERIES

South Devon is full of amazing pubs and restaurants offering gastronomic
delights, including The New Inn pub at Moreleigh less than a mile from the
field! Don’t be shy to ask us questions of where to eat, drink and be merry.

> We are more than happy to share our local knowledge of idyllic river pubs,
> characterful beer gardens, vineyards and cosy country hideaways.

SHOP

A small but useful campsite shop offering (subject to availability)... firewood,
eggs and other camping essentials.

The shop also houses many tourist leaflets and a map to assist you in really
making the most out of your holiday to the beautiful heaven of Devon.

ATMOSPHERE

We offer a relaxed vibe and have a communal fire pit for campers to sit by to
natter and relax under the beautiful night skies that we are so lucky to have
here.

We also welcome you to bring your own, off the ground braziers/BBQs (we will
provide bricks to protect the land). We accept well behaved dogs, all we kindly
ask is that you keep them on leads at all times to protect our sheep and other
livestock.
