Active Journey Journeys Dark Mode CRNOPAC Active2023-12-27 - Crnopac (1402 m) is the southernmost part of Velebit, but it certainly belongs to its most attractive part. This magnificent craggy part is full of karst phenomena, such as deep sinkholes and pits. This part of Velebit has long been one of the most unknown parts of this mountain massif. We can thank Slavko Tomerlin - Tatek , who built the mountain shelter "Crnopac" (1140m) and marked several paths through ravines and stone galleries that leave visitors breathless. The view from the top leaves no one indifferent, as it offers a rare opportunity to take in the entire Velebit with one glance, that is, from the very beginning to its end. The top is marked with a concrete column with an inscription of the name and altitude.
