Comments Showing 1-19 of 19 (19 new) post a comment » date newest » message 1: by Anna (new) - rated it 5 stars May 15, 2012 06:52PM Lauren once said that in the last book, it will come from two perspectives. Ofcourse, one from Lena, but who do you think the 2nd one will be? She said, it won't be Alex though, so I'm thinking it's Julian. So it's possible that Lena will end up with Julian. reply | flag message 2: by Jennifer (new) - rated it 5 stars May 15, 2012 07:17PM I heard that too and it makes me so mad the second perspective isn't Alex!!! Although it could be someone else from the resistance or maybe Lena's mom. I don't want it to be Julian. What a boring mind to be in. reply | flag message 3: by Tasha (new) - rated it 5 stars May 16, 2012 02:35PM I agree, but I'm thinking that it will no doubt come from Julian. Who else if not Alex. I just really, really hope that she doesn't end up with Julian. It defeats the whole plot of book 1. reply | flag message 4: by Clary (new) - rated it 2 stars May 17, 2012 01:16AM Jennifer wrote: "I heard that too and it makes me so mad the second perspective isn't Alex!!! I agree. the book is already frustrating and having Julian perspective on the third book could make it the most poorly written trilogy. reply | flag message 5: by Nicole (new) - rated it 4 stars May 17, 2012 03:21AM maybe it would be gracie. reply | flag message 6: by Rashida (new) - rated it 5 stars May 17, 2012 05:01AM I don't know,i'm kinda confuse if it will be Julian or Alex. I kinda like them both, so yea ^_^ reply | flag message 7: by Ella (new) - rated it 5 stars May 18, 2012 12:38AM Maybe it's Raven's?? reply | flag message 8: by Ella (new) - rated it 5 stars May 18, 2012 12:39AM Rashida wrote: "I don't know,i'm kinda confuse if it will be Julian or Alex. And I'd like it if the second perspective was Julian's, but it would be better if someone who has been a long supporter of the resistance would be the other perspective. Because we've already had a glimpse of the thoughts of someone who has just started rebelling, which is Lena in the first book. I think Raven's perspective would be a good one. Anyway, you might want to join this awesome group: Erudite Readers! If you're joining, can you do me a favor? Please mention that I invited you. Thanks a lot!! reply | flag message 11: by Anna (new) - rated it 5 stars May 19, 2012 06:44PM Yeah, Gracie could be a possibility. Lauren said, she would bloom into a great character eventually, so maybe it can be her as well. There, we could go back to the life Lena had in Portland. reply | flag message 12: by Trina (new) - rated it 5 stars May 19, 2012 07:46PM Julian would be a great perspective, he is an important figure in the whole rebellion, being the son of the DFA leader, I think he could have a great impact. To address some of the above issues: 1. Julian's perspective would not make the book poorly written. Lauren Oliver is an amazing author and I think the book will be great no matter who the second POV is. 2. If it's Julian, I don't think that had to mean Lena will end up with him. Like I said, he could become an important figure in their movement and maybe his POV will be to show the overthrow of the government. 3. IF Lena did end up with Julian it would NOT defeat the purpose of the first book. Book one taught Lena about love and and her mother, and it gave her the strength to fight. I think both of the guys have had/will have meaning to this story, no matter who Lena ends up with. reply | flag message 13: by ria ☆ (new) - rated it 5 stars May 19, 2012 11:07PM Trina wrote: "Julian would be a great perspective, he is an important figure in the whole rebellion, being the son of the DFA leader, I think he could have a great impact. Lauren Oliver did say we will be seeing old faces in Requiem. reply | flag message 14: by Rashida (new) - rated it 5 stars May 20, 2012 04:51AM Marissa wrote: "Trina wrote: "Julian would be a great perspective, he is an important figure in the whole rebellion, being the son of the DFA leader, I think he could have a great impact. I thought about Hana, but ruled her out because Oliver already wrote the story 'Hana' from her POV. But maybe that just was for her to get into the character! I wouldn't mind if it was Hana, but I really hope it's someone who is in the rebellion, or helping it, and I'm not sure if Hana is there yet after the way 'Hana' ended. reply | flag message 17: by zenoodle (new) - rated it 5 stars May 20, 2012 11:22AM It could very well be Julian, but consider the other candidates. Hana: she is "cured" and inside the walls, they could show her POV as the cure and everything are unraveling Raven: a close friend and guargian of Lena, she is like a "Johanna Mason" Here's a good one: Or,what about Lena's mom? It can do that "now-then, now-then" thing like they did in Pandemonium with Lena and it can sort of talk about her involvement in the rebellion things and how she got where she was, and how everything was foreshadowed and planned. I want to see a Lena's mom POV :) reply | flag message 18: by Arushi (new) - rated it 3 stars May 27, 2012 11:46AM Yeah, I think Lena's mom's POV might be very interesting to read about since we don't know much about her life except for Lena's thoughts about her childhood ;) reply | flag message 19: by Jennifer (new) - rated it 5 stars Jul 06, 2012 04:04AM I hope the other POV isn't Julian. I think Lena's mom would be great. I am so curious what all has happened to her.
