It's still happening today, no change. Anyone who knows anything about such matters and about Internet publishing knows the significance and implications. But it's not too late to remedy and reverse. :-) It's easy to well speculate why this is now being done, some of which appears below. Unexpected to say the least, but been around the block many times, so... Politics 1 day ago I said in my first post that things were about to get real. The flames were also a nice touch. :) My intention was to just come here and do some good with real free speech and such. I am also one of God's people - surprise, surprise. What a thing to say about oneself in mixed company, ay? Only those who are His people can even properly receive and relate to a statement like that. Now seemingly there's a bunch around here, including among the founders. Long story short (trying), I've pretty much seen it all when it comes to both "the church" and the Internet. And God has shown me that nothing is beyond the "visible" church in this world. So now there have been some bugs, which is mostly normal, though some of the bugginess had to make an experienced person wonder just a bit. Now, however, there is something that has to make an experienced person wonder a bit more. So, long story short too (if possible), based on my ridiculous abundance of life, church, and Internet experience, it honestly looks possible that someone, somewhere, associated with this lovely project, may be wanting to push me off the super excellent and super desirable @Politics username. The anomaly only started sometime after I signed up with it. What I'm referring to is, originally I had secured the username and everything was fine. But then sometime later, a conflicting use of the username by Pickax itself began appearing and causing a bit of a problem. At first it would merely appear for a short time, and then the screen would become corrected to show only my usage. But now it's becoming "more agressive." And instead of correcting itself, only the Pickax usage of the name appears next to my profile info on the left side of the screen, as if the Pickax conflicting use is "taking over" (surprise, surprise). Below is a screenshot of the current screen iteration of this progressive conquest. Originally the central content included mine and only my use of the name. Then later the Pickax usage would appear for a while, and then vanish to be corrected to my original use. But now the Pickax use has staked its claim in the center of the screen to the left of mine, letting me know who's boss. :) Sure, you can do what you want, but we all know the reality is known as "not cool." Does anyone really know how and in what fashion the original user of "@X" was evicted on X for instance? I don't. But this is different, or at least that's what the idea behind Pickax seemingly was. Now to those with experience who know about these things and for whom it is not rocket science - it's not rocket science. I get it. But of course, it's still "not cool." For others, however, they may not know about these things and their significance. Let's say this is deliberate. I'm inclined to doubt Jeff would have anything to do with it. However, remember - super abundant life experience, knowledge, yada, yada, yada. It's still possible that someone else associated with this project saw how an unknown loose cannon entity like myself got such a great significant and potentially useful name like "@Politics," how I'm not a Trump supporter but more of an RFK Jr. supporter, for instance, etc., and thought along the lines of "uh-oh, better do something about that..." Remember - pretty much seen it all, nothing past "the church," etc., get it? So while it's your company, you can do what you want, etc., etc., I'm just saying that if you push me off and evict me from this great username I was the first one to register and start using, I'm out of here. And for all you know, maybe that's a bad thing, for you that is. After all, for all you know I'm a valuable person to have around and supporting the cause.
