Our focus is on teaching people throughout South Africa to be safe in and around water. Find out more SAVING LIVES The NSRI provides an essential rescue service to water users who find themselves in difficulty on South African coastal and inland waters. Find out more CHANGING LIVES At the beginning of 2020, the NSRI launched its Survival Swimming Programme, which teaches children the basic skills to stay afloat should they find themselves in difficulty in the water.
