WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - Wichita city officials say that recovery efforts are
going well and that most public systems are now back in service following a
cyberattack last month.

Water metering and billing systems are back online, and customers should expect
updated statements this week. Auto payments are functioning as normal, and
customers should now have access to their utility accounts online.

“We always have payment plans for folks who are having difficulty, maybe just
going through a rough time,” city spokesperson Megan Lovely said. “You can call
and speak with a water customer service rep; they will work with you and set you
up on a payment plan.”

For those flying out of Eisenhower Airport, the public flight and gate display
also remains offline. You’ll want to have your airline’s app downloaded to keep
up with the latest flight information.
