The images on the cards are drawn both from their traditional meanings, and from
the artist's personal instinctive relationship with them. They fall somewhere in
the balance between fantasy and reality. Since that is what it is, after all, to
be part of Somewhere else. The cards are full-color, in a collage-art style,
with a balanced, reversible back.

hand-cut collages from recycled books and publications.

Back Here keeps in mind The Alleyman's Tarot I am dealing with a stitched
together tarot deck, made up of various tarot decks. the principle is that they
won't be the very same at all-- they will have various backs, various designs,
(various sizes?) and I will be modifying them to change colors a bit-- to make
them look clean and new, or to look old and worn.


Today I am wanting to use a few cards from various old decks that are public
domain now, consisting of the ORIGINAL rider waite smith (screw off United
States games), Minchiate, Tarot of Marseilles, Piedmontese, Trionfi, Visconti
Sforza, and others. I will also be designing and consisting of cards from
non-existent decks.
