PLAY HARD Our action-packed, bucket-list adventures will be something you will never forget. ROAM WITH PURPOSE Become a global change-maker as you immerse yourself in the local culture. I loved going to Peru with ROAM Humanitarian! I loved meeting new people and eating new food. My trip was hard work, but so much fun. I have never done anything like this before and doing it with my family was the best. Malaya B., Child Participant As a college student, traveling with Roam Humanitarian provided the perfect dynamic and trip culture for me! Peru was truly a dream come true. This trip was so much more than I even anticipated! Visiting Machu Picchu, zip lining over the wide-open river and huge mountains, and biking from 12,000 feet in the Andes were the most amazing things I have ever done. Serving alongside the people of Peru gave me perspective into their culture and values, and deeply changed the way I look at life. Our group bonded, and I made connections that I will have for the rest of my life, both here in the United States, and in Peru. The trip was filled with so much personal growth, and a good balance of service, activities, and cultural experiences. I plan on attending more trips with Lindsay and Justin in the future! Elizabeth B., College Aged Participant “Justin and Lindsay went above and beyond to create the most incredible humanitarian trip! My son and I will never be the same again because of the amazing opportunity we had to travel with them! Their company is truly one-of-a-kind and provides the most wonderful service opportunities that you can’t find anywhere else! We were blown away with their attention to detail and how much thought and effort they put into our trip. I would recommend ROAM humanitarian over and over and OVER again!” Kara Allen, CEO Kara’s Party Ideas, Parent Participant “I love Roam Humanitarian so much. I have been incredibly blessed with the opportunity I had to go on this trip with my family. JBow and LBow sacrifice so much of their time to change the lives of others, and they are 1000% succeeding in it. If you feel like you want to have a once-in-a-lifetime experience go on a Roam Humanitarian expedition. You will not only have incredible service opportunities, you will make lifelong friendships with all different kinds of people. This will be the best decision you will ever make!” Sina T., Youth Participant I have always wanted to travel internationally and do a humanitarian service trip. If I hadn’t come across ROAM Humanitarian I don’t know if it would’ve been possible. They made it so easy from the day that I signed up with a detailed pack list and itinerary. My two teenage daughters and I absolutely loved this experience. To quote Justin ‘This isn’t a vacation, it is traveling.’ We had a fine balance of working hard and playing hard! I felt like we were immersed in the culture from day one from eating cultural food to sleeping in local Peruvian homes. This is a life changing experience and I am so grateful to Lindsay and Justin for all the hard work they put into creating this and sharing it with us. The bonus that I wasn’t expecting is all the friendships that were born working and playing side by side with the other families and singles on the trip. If I had to describe it all in one word it would be ‘priceless’. Jamie B., Parent Participant (came with two daughters) Traveling to Peru with Roam Humanitarian was a life changing trip I will never forget. Everything we did was so much fun, and some things definitely pushed me out of my comfort zone. I don’t think I’ve ever felt as adventurous as I did on this trip. On top of all the fun and exciting things we did, the biggest thing I gained from this trip was gratitude. Having the opportunity to serve the Peruvian people really opened my eyes to a different culture. Roam Humanitarian is the best!
