This can be vital for not only themselves but also their potential successors, as both investors and directors are insisting great successors be developed now. The CEO Academy, in conjunction with the Wharton School, has designed such a program, and it will be held in San Francisco on September 6-7 or New York City on November 15-16, 2023. The CEO Academy, now in its 23rd year, has attracted some of the most successful chief executives and board leaders in the country. It is one of the most comprehensive “learning” and “refresher” programs of its kind, attracting current chief executives, former CEOs, potential successors, company directors, Wharton faculty, and industry leaders. More than 600 CEOs have attended the program. We focus on strategy, innovation, growth, finance, talent, compensation, succession, governance, and other issues of pressing concern to chief executives, potential successors, and board leaders. Admission to the CEO Academy is limited to ensure intimacy, collaboration, and networking.
