VISA REQUIREMENTS

A Singapore visa is not an immigration pass. It is a pre-entry permission for
the holder of a valid Singapore visa to travel to, and seek entry, into
Singapore. The grant of an immigration pass will be determined by the ICA
officers at the point of entry. Possession of a valid visa alone does not
guarantee entry into Singapore.

The period of stay granted is shown on the visit pass endorsement given on your
passport and it is not tied to the validity of your visa.

VISA APPLICATION

The Singapore Consulate-General in Mumbai processes social/business visa
applications for Indian Nationals and Foreigners (with residence proof) from the
six states which comes within the Consulate-General's jurisdiction. The six
states are Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Goa, Gujarat and Odisha.

Visitors holding ordinary Indian passports are required to apply for a Singapore
entry visa prior to their visit to Singapore.  Visitors holding official and
diplomatic Indian passports are exempted from this entry requirement.

The Singapore Consulate-General no longer accepts walk-in applications and all
applications would have to be submitted via a new Electronic Visa (E-Visa)
application system. Only our Authorised Visa Agents are allowed to do the online
submission on behalf of the applicant.

You are advised to apply for an entry visa within 30 days prior to arrival in
Singapore. Please refer to list of participating Authorised Visa Agents.

Required Documents

To apply for an entry visa for business or social visits, please contact any of
the participating authorised visa agents listed in the link above, during office
hours. Visa applications will be accepted only when all of the following
documents are in order:

 * Duly completed Form 14A signed by you. Your visa application shall be made
based on the information declared in this form. ICA may request for the form
   to be submitted.
 * Your recent passport-sized colour photograph taken within the last three
months. Please see Photo Guidelines for information on photo requirements.
 * A photocopy of your passport biodata page (valid for at least six months from
the date of your entry into Singapore)
 * A completed Form V39A (Letter of Introduction for Visa Application (LOI)),
which may be issued by a local contact* in Singapore.

Additional supporting documents may be required on a case-by-case basis. All
documents in Hindi, including official notes, should be translated into English.

*The local contact must be either a Singapore citizen (SC) or a Singapore
permanent resident (PR) who is at least 21 years old with a SingPass/CorpPass
account. If you are applying for an entry visa for business visit (attending
business negotiations or discussions), the local contact must be acting on
behalf of the Singapore-registered business entity. LOIs issued by your Embassy
can also be accepted, if you are unable to secure an LOI from a local contact to
support your visa application for social and business visits.

Visa Fees

A processing fee of INR1,800 is levied for each visa application submitted. The
fee is non-refundable regardless of the outcome of the application and should be
made upfront at the time of submission of the application.

In addition to the visa fee of INR1,800, a fixed service charge of INR650 for
each visa application will be imposed by the Authorised Visa Agents. There are
no additional charges for urgent visa applications.

Applicants are advised to apply for the entry visa through the Singapore
Consulate-General’s Authorised Visa Agents. The Singapore Consulate-General will
not be liable for additional charges imposed by third party (non-authorised)
agents.

Processing Time

Your visa application will be processed in 3 to 5 working days (excluding the
day of submission, Weekends and Holidays). Some applications may take longer to

applied your visa with for assistance.

*Important Notes

Every visa application including the period of validity is considered on its own
merits and is subject to approval.

An entry visa is not an immigration pass. It is a pre-entry permission for the
holder to travel to, and seek entry, into Singapore. The grant of an immigration
pass will be determined by the Singapore Immigrations and Checkpoints Authority
officers at the point of entry. Possession of a valid visa alone does not
guarantee entry into Singapore.

A holder of a valid entry visa who is found suitable for entry into Singapore
will be issued with an immigration pass to enter and remain in Singapore. You
are advised to check your passport for the arrival visit pass endorsement when
in Singapore and take note of the period of stay granted. The period of stay
granted is shown on the visit pass endorsement given on your passport and it is
not tied to the validity of your visa.

Apart from the possession of a valid visa, you are required to ensure that you
fulfil other prevailing immigration entry requirements. You are reminded to have
sufficient funds for their period of stay in Singapore.

If you intend to stay beyond the period of stay granted on the visit pass, you
would need to apply for an extension at least 5 working days prior to the expiry
of the visit pass. Details on extension of visit passes are available
at www.ica.gov.sg.

The Singapore Consulate-General does not issue work visas i.e. employment passes
or work permits for purposes of employment in Singapore. Also, the
Consulate-General does not accept applications for work visas submitted on
behalf of clients by travel agents or employment agencies.

VISA TRANSFER

Holders with a valid visa of 3 months or more in their old passport may transfer
their existing visa to their new passport. Please submit your documents to our
Authorised Visa Agents who will charge you a processing fee of INR650. Please
note that transfer applications are accepted from Mondays to Thursdays ONLY.

Your visa application will be processed in two working days (excluding the day
of submission). Some applications may take longer to process.

Travellers are reminded to transfer their valid visa to their new passport
before commencing their journey to Singapore to avoid any delays in their
travel.
