Hi! I’m Rachel, a dive instructor, freelance writer, and marketing guru based in
Sooke, BC (on Vancouver Island in Canada). Ask anyone I know, I’m officially
obsessed with scuba diving and adventure travel!

When I’m not underwater or hiking in the mountains, I write about liveaboards,
dive travel, and sustainability. You can find my work published in Scuba Diver
Life, Scuba Diving Magazine, Sport Diver Magazine, and The Province, with
regular materials being produced for Explorer Ventures Liveaboard Fleet.

Along with my unique writing perspective, I provide an excellent marketing
strategy and am available for consultation for businesses that need more
support. My skill set is unique with education in eco-tourism management,
business development, digital marketing, and I’ve held various positions in the
scuba industry over the last 15 years. I have also traveled to more than 50
countries, diving and adventuring my way around the world.

I would love to work with you, I’m always on a mission to discover my next great
story, and a whale shark or two! Currently available for consulting, writing
projects, content creation, FAM trips, and YES – I am happy to chat about

More than 15 years ago I left my home to discover more remote corners of the
globe. Throughout my work as a Dive Instructor, Travel Guide, and Digital
Marketer I have been able to fund my adventures and continue storytelling. My
passions have taken me all over the world (and web) where I’ve learned
incredible lessons on the value of life and living.
