HOME ERIN BYRNE - VISUAL ARTIST CONTEMPORARY BRITISH PAINTER AND PRINTMAKER BASED IN KENT. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- BASKET -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My work explores both my background as an Architect and my love of the wide open coastal landscapes of Thanet and the Thames Estuary. I am inspired by the play of light in nature and architecture and I make work by painting, duplicating, scanning, printing and reproducing images and letting incidental distortion, patternation and abstraction inform the outcome. I also love to explore the relationship between perception and abstraction by incorporating both analogue and digital print methods in my work.
