Unlike almost every other type of vehicle, large vans like the LDV Deliver 9
have a singular purpose.

They are thoroughbred workhorses in the truest sense, designed to carry cargo –
and lots of it – day in and day out.

They don’t need to be fancy, but they do need to operate – and be operated –
safely, efficiently, and affordably.

So, let’s open the doors to the LDV Deliver 9 and find out how one of the newest

IS THERE AN LDV DELIVER 9 VARIANT TO SUIT MY NEEDS?

The 2024 LDV Deliver 9 is a large delivery van that is offered in three body
styles: the Mid Wheelbase with a Mid Roof and the Long Wheelbase with the choice
of either Mid Roof or High Roof.

All three share the same list of standard features with a spacious front cabin
filled with the latest technology required to create a comfortable and
convenient mobile office. The list includes remote central locking, power front
windows, air conditioning, an eight-way adjustable driver’s seat with a
fold-down armrest, overhead storage compartments, two USB power outlets, a
4.2-inch LCD instrument cluster and a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment unit
with Bluetooth connectivity and Apple CarPlay®.



Pricing for the LDV Deliver 9 starts from $43,990 drive away for the Long
Wheelbase Mid Roof with a manual transmission and from $46,490 with an automatic
for business buyers with an ABN, offering impressive value in the Australian
large van market. The Short Wheelbase Mid Roof model is priced from $44,990
drive away while the High Roof model is priced from $48,490 drive away for ABN
holders and both come standard with an automatic gearbox.

The Deliver 9 is offered with the choice of two exterior colours – Blanc White
or Mica Blue – with an optional pack on automatic models that adds keyless entry
with push-button start, two additional safety features (more on these below),
and extra-wide 236-degree opening rear doors on the Long Wheelbase version.
Prices start at $1235 on the Mid Wheelbase and $1425 on the Long Wheelbase
models for ABN holders.

LDV also offers the Deliver 9 as a bus, with either 11 seats in the Mid
Wheelbase configuration or the choice of 12 or 14 seats in the Long Wheelbase
with Mid or High Roof options, as well as a Cab Chassis model that allows
business operators to tailor its application to their specific requirements.




HOW SAFE IS THE LDV DELIVER 9?

The LDV Deliver 9 comes standard with an extensive suite of advanced safety
systems, including electronic stability control, autonomous emergency braking,
lane departure warning, front, side and double curtain airbags for the driver
and passenger, reverse parking sensors and a wide-view rear overhead camera.

Automatic models also pick-up adaptive cruise control, while the option pack
brings Blind Spot Detection and Lane Change Assistance, giving the Deliver 9 an
extra layer of safety in busy city environs.




WHAT POWERS THE LDV DELIVER 9?

All versions of the LDV Deliver 9 Van are powered by a 2.0-litre common-rail
direct-injection turbodiesel four-cylinder engine that produces 108kW of power
at 3500rpm and 375Nm of torque on a band of revs between 1500-2400rpm.

The Long Wheelbase Mid Roof version is the only model to offer the choice
between a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission, with the Mid
Wheelbase Mid Roof and Long Wheelbase High Roof fitted with the auto as
standard.

The Deliver 9 has an 80-litre fuel tank, rides on 16-inch steel wheels with a
full-size spare tyre, has four-wheel disc brakes, hydraulic power steering and a
MacPherson front strut suspension set-up matched to heavy-duty taper leaf
springs at the rear with gas-filled dampers.

LDV also offers the Long Wheelbase, in both Mid- and High Roof configuration as
well as a Cab Chassis, with an electric powertrain. The eDeliver 9 van has a
150kW/310Nm electric motor driving the front axle and an 88.5kWh lithium-ion
phosphate battery, while the Cab Chassis variant has a 65kWh battery.




HOW MUCH CAN THE LDV DELIVER 9 CARRY?

Most importantly, the LDV Deliver 9 provides a flexible and generous cargo
space.

The Mid Wheelbase model is 5546mm long, 2466mm wide and stands 2555mm high with
3366mm between the front and rear axles, creating a load area of 9.66 cubic
metres.

The Long Wheelbase versions have an extra 394mm between the axles that increases
the load area to 10.97 cubic metres with the Mid Roof and 12.33 cubic metres
with the High Roof.

The cargo area is 3019mm long, 1800mm wide and 1792mm high in the Mid Wheelbase
model, and 3413mm long in the Long Wheelbase versions. The High Roof extends the
load area height to 2014mm, and all models measure 1366mm between the rear wheel
arches.

The Mid Wheelbase model has a Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM) of 3800kg, a payload of
1500kg and maximum axle weights of 1680kg and 2120kg front and rear
respectively. The Long Wheelbase versions increase the GVM to 4000kg with the
Mid Roof offering a payload of 1670kg with the manual and 1640kg with the auto
and 1620kg for the auto-only High Roof.

All variants have a maximum braked towing capacity of 2800kg and come standard
with a sliding door on the passenger side, non-slip entry steps on the side and
rear, twin barn doors on the back that open to 180-degrees, sturdy tie-down
points (six in the MWB and eight in the LWB), a heavy-duty hard rubber floor mat
and LED lighting in the cargo area.

While the dimensions and overall volume of the cargo area don’t change with the
eDeliver 9, the electric models do have slightly lower payload figures of 1410kg
for the Mid Roof and 1350kg for the High Roof and can only tow a maximum of
1500kg with a braked trailer.

The LDV Deliver 9 offers business buyers an affordably priced large van that
doesn’t compromise on performance, safety, comfort and, most importantly, cargo
capacity.

All models are covered by a three-year/160,000km warranty (whichever occurs
first) with 24-hour roadside assistance and a capped-price servicing plan – for
up to three years or 95,000km (whichever occurs first) at participating dealers
on eligible vehicles.

If anything, the LDV Deliver 9 makes light work of a heavy load, especially when
it comes to the bottom line of your business.
