Inside a cell, molecules are often tightly packed together, making them
difficult to image. Researchers have now developed a novel way to expand a cell
or tissue sample before labeling its molecules, making them more accessible to
fluorescent tags.

its hand-built car, Nimbus, for 1,940 miles, taking first place at the American
Solar Challenge for the second year in a row in the Single Occupant Vehicle

Neuroscientists have discovered a population of neurons in the visual cortex
that lights up whenever we see images of food. The unexpected finding may
reflect the special significance of food in human culture, the researchers say.
