If you used SepearteFields() before putting the video through Yadif, then of
course you won't get good results! What's the correct procedure in AviDemux? And
yes, I know what interlaced and progressive are and what they should look like.
I tried AviDemux with Active Filters / yadif in place, tried both top and bottom
first and got horrible results. In that case (and only in that case) you'd need
an IVTC filter!) (BTW: What looks like interlaced video may actually turn out to
be telecined. Both are available (not only) in Avidemux. If you know how, could
you tell how to deinterlace 25fps interlaced to 50fps progressive with the best
quality?įirst of all stop doing weird things! Then take your interlaced video
"as-is" and put it trough the deinterlacer of your choice! That's it, really )Īs
deinterlacer you may use "Yadif" or "TDeint", for example. I'm not aware of any
deinterlacer that takes or expects separated fields as input :rolleyes: But why

legacy of this history. We will also examine relations among Latinx and European
immigrants, and consider the affects of US intervention and imperialism in Latin
America on US Latinx communities. Students will become familiar with issues that
have affected different Latinx populations in the United States: migration
patterns, cultural interaction, community and cultural formation and racial
formations. Although we will examine communities comprised of people of Central
and South American descent, the focus of this course will be on the four largest
Latinx groups: those of Mexican, Puerto Rican, Cuban and Dominican descent. This
course focuses on the history of people of Latin American descent (Latinas/os)
living in the United States. In doing so, we will learn to mobilize our readings
as theoretical and historical tools in interpreting the contemporary and
interrogating our responsibility toward the themes of the class. Instead of
resolving these debates, our problem-based approach will emphasize that texts
are intellectual and political acts whose scope and framing bear on present
problematics. In order to excavate this assumption, we will survey debates on 1)
the origin and history of race and racism (from the Ancients to the early
moderns) 2) the deployment of categories in contested proximity to race (from
class to gender) and 3) the development of different conceptual paradigms (from
double consciousness to political ontology) to parse the relationship between
race and the world. We will begin with the working assumption that slavery is at
the root of the problem of race and racism. This course offers a critical
introduction to the conditions of possibility for modern racial thinking, with
particular emphasis on racial slavery and anti-blackness. While paying attention

WAITING FOR GODOT THEME

Somehow a thin, black tree rises from this wasteland, behind Vladimir and
Estragon. Vladimir and Estragon roam the bleak dirt road, surrounded by
mountains of gray, colorless debris that resemble mounds and mounds of ruins. In
the film adaptation, the setting remains minimalist but amplifies the theme with
an almost post-apocalyptic scenario. For example, the description of the setting
in Beckett’s script consists of “a country road. The filmed performance of
“Waiting for Godot”, released in 2001 as part of a Beckett on Film project and
screened at the Barbican Centre in London, illustrates the postwar theme most

come to save them, and so the cycle continues. Vladimir and Estragon, Pozzo’s

the answers: Godot. Pozzo, a central purveyor of the play’s comedy, represents a
ruling elite that has taken advantage of the chaos so much that it has made
slaves out of educated, presumably middle class human beings like Lucky. The
cyclic nature of the plot penetrates the dialogue so much that ideas of
hopelessness and suicide become routine, colliding with lighter moments of
ridiculous conversation held by the characters.

The protagonists, Vladimir and Estragon, though airheaded and sometimes even
nonsensical, convey more dark, morbid subjects than they do funny ones. Thus,
the alienation in “Waiting for Godot” actually becomes a familiar phenomenon in
front of this audience, and communicates the sentiment of the time period-a
crumbled infrastructure, a collapsed government, lingering chaos and poverty.įor
these viewers, the absurdism in the play reflects the sociopolitical environment
of the postwar era, or their reality. At the time of its first premiere in Paris
in 1953, France, like much of the continent, was struggling to regain its
strength and prestige in the aftermath of war. The word “parody” insinuates a
satiric or ironic imitation of reality, and contrary to that definition, the
play’s foundation rests on a climate easily recognized by an audience living in
post-World War II Europe. The universe that Beckett creates in “Waiting for
Godot” is a bizarre, incomprehensible landscape that almost seems to be a parody
of our own. Set in some kind of strange post-apocalyptic world, the piece
employs two elderly homeless men as its protagonists who further propel the
theme of isolation they stay stuck in a cycle of stagnation, waiting for a
presumably authoritative figure called Godot whom they’ve been expecting for
what seems like forever.

Right now there's only two developers on the main game, and they could really
use some help. )Ībout time for another update, isn't it? I know many of you have
eagerly awaited some news, but there simply hasn't been much to write about in
the last weeks. Why don't you register yourself at the new forum and tell them
how great of a job you think they do? And if you've got some contributions to
make as well, it would be even better. There's been a lot of bugfixes and
undercover changes recently as well thanks to the STK development team. The team
is not giving general support for the svn version.

Please wait for the stable version of STK 0.7 if you do not intend to
contribute. The Irrlicht branch has been moved to trunk, so the current location
is. We also got a final lap message patch from Stephan Hillebrand thanks.

One could say it's pretty useless, but it's eye candy eat it! :Pįurthermore,
time trial now works as usual. No, we're not talking about a pop star with a
recent hit, but just an effect indicating when a kart was recently hit by an
exploding weapon or banana item. Pretty hefty explosion I'd say, so I'll be more
careful next time I go bowling. Just a quick demonstration of it against the
wall. While we wait for the alpha version, it's time for some special effects!
The alpha release will be for artists who can help out with converting old karts

I get an email from them saying I have violated their rules. I've gone back and
kept playing and all of a sudden, I get kicked off the table and 350 million
gone missing. Then got excited and played more, but ended up losing more than
half and left with 650, almost what I started with. I play for a while and made
it to 1.4 billion. Well my friends just bought 600 mil for me so I can play.
People who want to friend you then come and steal your chips. I also believe
pokerist send there own workers on tables to take customers chips as I have met
some unusual people. I will start doing something useful with my time instead of
wasting it with pokerist. Played all night and would not let me go above my
balance. This game picks and choose who they want to win. I played all in over
25 hands without 1 win that's not real poker. I will never buy chips as my money
is precious. LolĪfter my chips finish I will delete this crap game and be done
with it. Pokerist enjoy ignoring customers but they cannot ignore a law suit.
Their are many reviews online which can easily support your grounds in a law
suit atleast you will get real money of them. People who paid and feel aggrieved
should file a civil law suit on pokerist that will teach them a lesson not to
blatantly defraud customers and not reply. This is considered as fraud and a
criminal offence. I have 25 million never bought any chips.īeen playing for a

review in every website possible, including Facebook, and warn all my family and
friends and their friends never to go on any Kama games and definitely not to
purchase any money to play their fixed games. Ive been watching the players and
the game for a while and have documented many discrepencies and will be glad to
share them with the FCC. I know they're employees because they have 10 billion
or more in their accounts which are opened on the day they start playing,
coincidence, absolutely not because you can't purchase that many chips to play
with unless you have $1500 or more in the game to begin with. I play with pocket
pairs, 7 or higher or A king, A queen, A jack, A ten (I can't attest to what
cards my friends play with) and your strategically placed employees always play
with the worst hands and always win. My friends and I know it's fixed because
we've played in live poker games and in other online games and have never lost
more than 3 hands in a row, but in Pokerist, I have lost more than 13 games in a
row (I don't play many hands) and so have my friends. You trick people into
thinking that the cards are random but they're not. Their game is fixed and you
have employees who know the setups and what order the cards are going to come.
