WELCOME TO SALISHAN CATERING

Salishan Catering is a tribute to the teachings of my grandmother and mother who
taught me the ways of our ancestors. They taught me how to gather and prepare
the foods of our people, and care for the gifts of the lands and oceans… the way
we’ve been doing since the beginning of time.

Many of the plants and berries used by my ancestors are still important to my
people today. The plants and berries continue to provide food, clothing and
shelter, while teaching our history to our young people and sharing with guests.
