At D&S we will do everything we can to keep the costs to landlords down which is
why we will always try to diagnose the fault over the phone before going out and
our repair service is based on a FIXED LABOUR CHARGE no matter how long it takes

and don’t sell to consumers. If you are a letting agent or property management

account so that you can order from us whenever you like from wherever you are

     By selecting and purchasing the ‘Best Value’ option when ordering though
     our online store you are confirming that you are happy with any brand
     machine that we deliver as long as the minimum standards we have outlined
     are met.

 11. 11.*4 Day Guarantee
     
     D&S Corporate offer a *4 day guarantee. This guarantee only applies to our
     ‘Best Value’ range and if a specific brand is selected at point of ordering
     then the 4 day guarantee does not apply. We will however deliver your
     selected machine as fast as possible.
     
     

 12. 12.Sizes
     
     Freestanding appliances come in lots of different sizes and as such there
     may be some manufacturers that do not offer your selected size. If this
     happens with an order we will contact the customer within 24 hours to
     advise that we cannot complete the order. In this event we will offer a
     different appliance from the same category in the correct size, where
     possible at the same price. If we cannot fulfil the order and the customer
     doesn’t accept our offer of a different appliance we will refund the order
     in full.
     
     
     
     12.1
     
     Where a customer has selected a size they are confirming that this is the
     correct size for the property that it is being installed in. In the event
     that a machine is delivered but cannot be fitted due to an error selecting
     the size of appliance, D&S Corporate may take the appliance back to
     exchange for the correct size, however, the delivery charge will not be
     re-funded and as such the customer will need to pay for delivery again.
     
     

 13. 13.Prices
     
     The prices shown against brands in our online store are for lead in models
     only. If certain specifications are requested (such as LED screen, large
     drum size etc) D&S Corporate reserve the right to increase the price in
     order to fulfil your order. Where possible we will strive to deliver your
     specific requirements for the price displayed on our site but in the event
     that we are unable to you will be given the choice as to wether you would
     like to proceed with your order or cancel.
     
     

 14. 14.Installation
     
     Whilst every care will be taken, we shall not be responsible for accidental
     damage caused to your home or the contents while goods are being delivered
     and installed or the old ones removed. Or for any such loss arising from
     such damage, including all water and electrical connections. We can only
     install to existing connections. Where circuitry work needs to be
     undertaken, we are not able to carry out this work and where this occurs a
     qualified electrician will need to be contracted to complete the

Here at D&S Corporate our engineers are highly trained and have been repairing
all brands of washing machine for many many years. Our engineers can generally
diagnose a fault over the phone and we will always call to see if we can resolve
the issue with a washing machine without going out to the property and the
landlord incurring a chrage for something that can be dealt with easily by the
tenant. One of the most common faults we come across is that the washing machine
isn't draining properly and possibly filling up with dirty water. Most of the
time the washing machine can be 'fixed' by simply pouring some drain unblocker
down the kitchen sink. This should always be the first port of call for this
kind of washing machine problem before booking a repair engineer to come out and
repair the washing machine.

Tumble Dryers are an extreemly helpful tool for any household, especially those
with young families where the washing seems to pile up so fast you can't do it
quick enough and that's where the tumble dryer comes into it's own. If this
vital peice of equiptment is out of action it needs to be brought back into
service (or replaced) as quickly as possible.

Our nationwide repair service will help your tenants get their tumble dryer back
up to speed as fast as possible. We will call them to diagnose the fault within
2 hours and if we need to attend the property we will do this within 48 hours.


Our freestanding & integrated tumble dryer repair service offers our clients a
fixed labour charge with parts (if needed) added on. We can't quote on parts
until we have seen the machine as we won't know what parts the washer dryer may
need. We can however give you an idea of the cost for parts based on our
telephone call with the tenant.

Before calling about a tumble dryer repair you should make sure that the tenants
have performed a number of checks to ensure that a repair or relacement tumble
dryer is really needed:

1. Thoroughly clean out the condenser unit (usually located at the bottom of the
tumble dryer on the front), and dry it out.
2. Clean out all the filters in the tumble dryer.

If after checking the above things it still isn't working, get in touch to
repair the tumble dryer.

child, after all a parent needs ton reheat their meal at least twice every

Our Freestanding & Integrated Microwave repair service offers our clients a
fixed labour charge with parts (if needed) added on. We can't quote on parts
until we have seen the machine as we won't know what parts the microwave may
need. We can however give you an idea of the cost for parts based on our initial
diagnosis telephone call with the tenant.

Unlike most other appliances where there are a number of maintenance checks you
can perform to see if these can get your microwave working, we don't advise that
tenants do anything with microwaves as without opening them up and potentially
exposing dangerous waves you can't really do anything. You should always leave
it to a professional with the relevant qualifications.

D&S are committed to keeping landlord costs down and so if we feel (after
diagnosing the issue over the phone) that it would be more economical to replace
with a new microwave we will offer 3 quotes to replace BEFORE going out to
repair. This will mean that your landlords will not have a call out charge to
pay in addition to the cost of a new microwave if it does need replacing.

Fridge freezers are highly important to our daily lives, (if there wasn't any
cold milk in the morning for coffee we would come to a standstill) and tenants
fridges are even more important than that. It is a responsibility to ensure that
your tenants are able to store their food and drink properly.



Our freestanding & integrated fridge repair service offers our clients a fixed

Before calling about a fridge repair you should make sure that the tenants have
performed a number of checks to ensure that a repair or replacement fridge is
really needed:
1. Thoroughly clean out the drain hole (usually located on the back wall of the
fridge). To ensure that the fridge is able to circulate the air around the unit
correctly this hole needs to be clean. You can unblock this usually by putting a
pen or pencil in the hole and wiggling it around a bit. Leave the unit for
another couple of hours and see if it has make any difference. ).
2. You should also advise them to check the settings on the fridge, sometimes
you can have the unit on too high or too low and a number of fridges come with a
fast defrost button that a lot of people mistake for a fast cool or extra cool
setting.

If after checking the above things it still isn't working, get in touch to
repair the fridge.
