OUR STORY




Bloody Buckets Cattle Company holds importance across generations, paying
tribute to Captain James "Jim" Clement, part of the 28th Division during WWII
which earned the “Bloody Buckets” name for its red keystone patch.

His grandson, James Clement III, answered his own call with the United States
Marine Corps, serving since 2008. Today, he carries on a 6th generation ranching
tradition, running Bloody Buckets Ranch and serving on the Management Council
for King Ranch Institute.  

At Bloody Buckets Ranch, cattle are part of a management system focused on
environmental sustainability and improving habitat. Bloody Buckets raises Santa
Gertrudis-crossed cattle with genetics from historic King Ranch for all-natural,
grass-fed animals that live happy, healthy lives.
