Submit POPULAR CONTENT Best-of-breed content Payment declined - Credit/debit Card Credit / debit card payment issues If you paid by credit or debit card and received a "Payment declined" message, your payment has been canceled and there are some possible explanations for this status, such as: * There was an instability on the internet or an error in your browser when payment details were sent. In this case, and if the amount has not been charged to your account, you can try to clear your browser's Cookies and Cache by pressing the CTRL + SHIFT + DEL keys and repeat the operation; * There was a problem with the card used. Contact your credit card company to verify that everything is correct with them (there is usually a phone available on the back of the card). If the charge has been registered, contact our service team and send the invoice indicating the charge in one of the following formats: PNG, JPEG or PDF; * Your purchase was not approved by PagSeguro. All your order information is analyzed by our system, and sometimes there may be inconsistencies in the data, which blocks the transaction for security reasons. In these cases, no charge is made, and you must place a new order by selecting another payment method, carefully checking that all data has been filled in correctly. If you want to use the same card again for future purchases, please contact our service team and request a review of your account. When the payment is canceled we are unable to reverse this process, so it will not be possible to deliver this order. You can make new purchases with other payment methods available on our page. If you have been charged and the bank has approved the transaction, wait until your invoice is closed and the charge will be withdrawn. Remember that if you choose to pay by credit card, a deposit is automatically made on your card. If the order is not approved, the amount is returned in the next invoice after the purchase date. PagSeguro doesn’t deliver the products you bought, we are only responsible for intermediating your payment and confirming it to the Merchant. We are not responsible for delivery, tracking, refund or other issues directly related to the product. The best solution for such issues is to contact the store in which you placed the order. Check if you are typing everything correctly. If the error still appears on the screen, send an e-mail to us (use the CONTACT button in our website) with the following information: - Print of the screen on which you entered the purchase data. Remember NOT to send your card details! If we receive the print with this data the image will be deleted and we are unable to help you :( - Print the entire screen (including the browser address bar) in which the error appears; - Write the step-by-step that you are following, from the moment you choose what you want to buy until the moment the error appears. Also tell us the name of the online store where you want to buy and the payment method you want to use (credit card, bank transfer, online debit etc.).
