RAPID PROTOTYPING

CATALYTIC COMBUSTION CORPORATION PROVIDES PROMPT WORKING PROTOTYPES FOR
OFF-HIGHWAY ENGINE EXHAUST MUFFLERS. OUR ENGINEERING TEAM PROVIDES A FULL CAD
DESIGN FOR YOUR APPLICATION, WE BUILD IT QUICKLY UTILIZING UNIVERSAL FIXTURES,
AND PROVIDE “DYNO” DYNAMOMETER TESTING AS WELL AS FLOW BENCH TESTING PRIOR TO
DELIVERY. MOST PROTOTYPE PROJECTS ARE COMPLETED WITHIN A 2-WEEK OR LESS
TIMEFRAME.


QUALITY ASSURANCE

Catalytic Combustion Corporation is an ISO 9001: 2015 Certified Manufacturer. In
order to earn this status, we have strict inspection practices, customer
feedback, and continual process improvement procedures in place.

CCC can follow a customer’s Production Part Approval Process (PPAP).

We have calibrated CMM and other measuring equipment to ensure proper tolerances
are the norm.

We have a dyno capable custom testing chamber with the ability to measure
variety of performance characteristics.

WHERE ARE CCC’S MANUFACTURING FACILITIES?

All products will ship from our Bloomer, Wisconsin headquarters and
manufacturing facilities after a rigorous ISO controlled inspection.

WHAT TYPE OF QUALITY CONTROL DO YOU HAVE IN PLACE?

Catalytic Combustion Corporation is an ISO 9001:2015 Certified Manufacturing
company. In order to earn this status, we have strict inspection practices,
customer feedback, and continual process improvement procedures in place.

WHAT EQUIPMENT DO YOU HAVE ON-SITE?

We have in-house laser, welding, bending, and rolling abilities in addition to

WHAT ARE THE MATERIAL OPTIONS?

We use mild steel, Aluminized, and several varieties of stainless.

WHAT ARE MY PAINT OPTIONS?

Any color you want as long as it is silver or black.

IS CUSTOM EXHAUST AVAILABLE FOR SERIES PRODUCTION?

ARE YOU ABLE TO BEND ANY TUBE SIZE?

Catalytic Combustion has the equipment and ability to bend the vast majority of
tube sizes.

DO YOU HAVE A LASER?

Yes, we have a laser and a plasma cutter. We can work with you to create any
shape you have in mind.

WHAT ARE YOUR LEAD TIMES?

Our lead time for a customer’s first order is typically 8-10 weeks, and reduces
to 6 weeks on subsequent orders.

DO YOU HAVE A CERTIFIED SPARK ARRESTOR?

Yes.

DO YOU HAVE THE ABILITY TO TEST MUFFLERS?

Yes, we have a testing room capable of measuring BP, HP, dB, torque and
temperature.

WHAT OTHER SERVICES DO YOU OFFER?

Catalytic Combustion Corporation provides Design, Testing, Application Approval
Guidance, Rapid Prototyping, PPAP and Full Production for a wide range of
non-automotive exhaust systems.

ARE YOU ISO CERTIFIED?

Yes, Catalytic Combustion is ISO 9001:2015 Certified.

WHAT IF WE DO NOT HAVE A 3D MODEL BUT ONLY A SAMPLE, HAND BUILT MUFFLER OR
SKETCHES? ARE YOU STILL ABLE TO HELP US?

Absolutely, with the use of our Romer Arm CMM, flow bench and other testing
equipment we are fully capable of reverse engineering any samples you may have.
Even if you only have simple hand drawings, our experienced designers can take
it from conception to reality. We will work with you by sending prototypes for
test fitments until a system fits and functions per your requirements.

HOW DO YOU VALIDATE YOUR EXHAUST SYSTEMS?

Catalytic Combustion works with you to meet both the engine manufacturer’s &
customer requirements through dyno, sound testing, direct engine manufacturer
testing, that machine that reads exhaust emissions, and other testing as
required for the project.

ARE YOU ABLE TO DO RAPID PROTOTYPING?

Yes, we have turned around prototypes in as few as 24 hours.  We’ll communicate
our timetable regardless.

DO YOU HAVE A MUFFLER FOR A PARTICULAR ENGINE?

If we don’t already have a design for a specific engine, we will work with you
to determine your exact needs and provide you with the most cost-effective
solution.
