The Seattle area is famous for its scenic views and breathtaking landscapes, but
there’s no better place to get a bird’s-eye view of Mt. Rainier than going hot
air ballooning. You’ll get amazing views of downtown Seattle, Tacoma, Lake
Tapps, Auburn, the beautiful Cascade Mountain range, and much more!

What’s even better about our hot air balloon rides is that we are the only
balloon ride operator to fly directly in front of Mt. Rainier — which offers a

The crew was fantastic and the experience was amazing. I'll let the photos do
the talking, but would recommend to all. If you want a fun knowledgeable crew
and a different way to experience the PNW, well worth it.

What a magical, breathtaking way to finalize our wedding. I truly couldn’t have
asked for anything better. This Rainier sunrise in the sky was perfect.Griffin
was very helpful in planning, Morgan did an incredible job piloting, and Eliav
brought a lot of energy and warmth to the whole experience. The entire team is
kind and clearly passionate about what they do -- a recipe for an amazing
experience.The bald eagle we saw didn’t scoop any prey out of the water, so 4
stars was tempting, though the water was so impressively glassy that we could
see our reflection from above. Solid 5 stars.

I had the most FANTASTIC experience with Seattle Ballooniong. I could have been
that my brother was getting married in the balloon to my now sister-in-law, that
the sky was PERFECTLY scattered with blue and puffy clouds, that Mt. Rainier was
out and gorgeous, that the pilot (Captain Morgan) and co-pilot (the company
owner) were hilarious (and snapping small video clips while we were up there to
reenactment a ballooning video (I forgot the name! Sorry!)), that during landing
we were graced with a professional photographer who captured the ending of the
experience with her incredibly eye and camera...it was all of it! SUCH A BLAST!
I would get up at a ridiculously early time to do it again any day! THANK YOU!

This experience is a MUST!!! I have never been hot air Balooning but I am glad I
did. Thanks a lot to our chief pilot Eliav and his crew. These guys are
extremely polite, friendly and professional which is very rare these days. I
loved the whole experience. We took off from Enumclaw and flew for about hour
and half and landed in Bonney Lake. Weather was gorgeous and we got to touch the
trees and got down to the water as well (SUPER SAFE). Definitely doing this
again

This was my second flight in my life and it absolutely exceeded the expectations
compared to the previous one. I love adventures and seeing the world from a
different perspective, so when we had an opportunity to go ballooning, the
answer couldn't be no. It was my first few days in Seattle ever and thanks to
the summer internship with Southwestern Advantage I got to know Eliav Cohen -
the owner of Seattle Ballooning company. Him and his crew are 100% excited and
passionate about what they do and making it a total fun experience for everyone.
Their pilot skills are outstanding and they can get you to the places that you
wouldn't believe it's possible in the balloon! :) Look at one of the videos - we
"went swimming" that morning, so fun! Not even mentioning how gorgeous the
sunrise was and the views on Mt. Rainier all the lakes and towns, just
incredible! Totally worth it, will stay in my memories for a long time!! If you
can, go for it! Do it now, sometimes later becomes never ;)

We only fly premium-built hot air balloons making our hot air balloon rides not
only safe but also spacious without compromising on comfortability; each
passenger has unobstructed 360-degree views of Mt. Rainier and the greater
Seattle countryside. 

It’s your choice – pick a sunrise hot air balloon ride or an afternoon hot air
balloon ride just prior to sunset for the experience of a lifetime. We take
safety very seriously here at Seattle Ballooning, and are committed to the
safety of our employees and guests – If you have been vaccinated you do not need
to wear a mask. If you haven’t we ask that you wear one.

After your flight, we’ll open a delicious bottle of aged champagne to celebrate
your hot air balloon ride. After all the excitement you’ve experienced, it’s
only natural to celebrate with a traditional balloon toast with our favorite

PRIVATE HOT AIR BALLOON RIDES

In these exciting times, it is common to find people looking for private hot air
balloon flights. These are the perfect opportunity for couples, families, or
small groups of friends to go on a ballooning adventure without being around
other folks. There are many options available including romantic rides for two
passengers, kid-friendly rides for families, and private group flights carrying
up to 21 guests in multiple balloons. Our largest hot air balloon basket can
accommodate private parties up to 12 guests with comfort and safety in mind
throughout the experience.

We have something for everyone at Seattle Ballooning. For those looking to
explore the sky without going it alone, we offer shared balloon rides with other
passengers who are open to sharing a flight with you.

We make sure to take all necessary precautions so that both pilots and
passengers are safe and sound throughout the journey. And don’t worry – we
require masks for every flight for those who haven’t been vaccinated, so your
safety experience will be just as great as your scenic views.

Since 2009, Eliav has been providing hot air balloon rides all over the country
and have flown balloons in Colorado, Oregon, Washington, Phoenix, Utah,
California, and Chaing Mai Thailand.

Kasey has flown balloons of all sizes for hundreds of hours all over the
country. He is also a fierce competitor. Kasey is ranked as a top competitor on
the national hot air balloon circuit.

McKenna is one of the only active female commercial hot air balloon pilots in
the NW. She loves to fly hot air balloons and train new pilots. She is a lead
instructor in Seattle Ballooning’s young aeronauts program.

Morghan has had a love of hot air ballooning ever since he was born, he was
lucky enough to take his flight in a balloon when he was just 18 months old. He
has flown various places, and sizes of balloons all the way up to a 425,000
cubic foot balloon, which carries 20 passengers, and it was always a fun
challenge to fly that massive balloon. Mo also competes in competition
ballooning all over and will be as well this year.
