In observance of Memorial Day, our Parts and Service Departments will be closed
and our Sales Department will be open 10am-4pm on Monday, May 27. Our Service
and Parts Departments will also be closed Saturday, June 1 but we will still be
here to receive early drop-offs for Monday's appointments. Thank you for

REQUIRED SERVICE A FOR VEHICLES MY09 AND NEWER

During a 10,000-mile check-in we call Service A, expertly trained technicians
not only perform a comprehensive, step-by-step vehicle inspection, but replace
certain key parts with Genuine Mercedes-Benz Parts.



 

“A” Service Details:

 * Service at 10,000 miles or 1 year
 * Synthetic motor oil replacement
 * Oil filter replacement
 * All fluid level checks and corrections are dependent on factory-recommended
   service intervals for your vehicle’s year and model
 * Tire inflation check and correction
 * Brake component inspection
 * Reset maintenance counter
 * Adhere to all required elements listed by model year and specific model as
   indicated on the corresponding service sheet for Mercedes-Benz Maintenance

REQUIRED SERVICE B FOR VEHICLES MY09 AND NEWER

Service B is when our highly skilled technicians do what they do best. With
comprehensive training under their belts, as well as the use of the latest
diagnostic tools and tests, they can help make certain that your Mercedes-Benz
vehicle is running at optimal performance.



 

“B” Service Details:

 * Oil filter replacement

SCHEDULE SERVICE

Price advertised for Service A/Service B includes all factory-required

THE IMPORTANCE OF YOUR MAINTENANCE MANUAL

It’s extremely important for the long-term health of your Mercedes-Benz, and for
the safety of you and your passengers, that you have your vehicle serviced
according to its regular maintenance intervals. That’s why you should keep your
vehicle’s maintenance manual readily at hand. It specifies which vehicle
services your Mercedes-Benz technician will perform during each routine service
visit.

We recommend you consult Mercedes-Benz of Fort-Washington for information about
your particular vehicle’s scheduled service needs.

 


REQUIRED VEHICLE MAINTENANCE FOR MODEL YEAR 2009 OR NEWER

As of model year 2009, Mercedes-Benz vehicles follow a maintenance schedule of
10,000-mile or 12-month intervals, whichever occurs first. Required maintenance
is the routine service necessary to keep your vehicle in peak operating
condition, and to help avoid damage to your vehicle. For all other model years,
refer to your maintenance manual for specific maintenance schedule information.

When you take your Mercedes-Benz to Mercedes-Benz of Fort Washington for routine
maintenance, our technicians use specialized tools, instruments, technical
literature, Genuine Mercedes-Benz Parts, and unmatched technical training to
service your vehicle. They follow your maintenance manual in detail to ensure
that everything is checked on schedule.

Your Mercedes-Benz Maintenance Manual specifies exactly what services your
Mercedes-Benz technician will perform at each routine service visit.

RECOMMENDED MAINTENANCE FOR MODEL YEAR 2009 OR NEWER

In addition to regular required maintenance, recommended maintenance advice is a
service meant to provide you with additional maintenance tips for your vehicle
based on its specific needs or recommendations from Mercedes-Benz of Fort
Washington.

Beyond any specific recommendations from a Mercedes-Benz technician, be sure to
check the following items regularly, as well as prior to any long trip:

 * Coolant level
 * Brake system fluid level (If brake fluid needs to be added, see an authorized
   Mercedes-Benz Dealer to determine the cause.)
 * Windshield washing system (Add washer fluid mixed with Mercedes-Benz
   windshield washer solvent/concentrate, test function, and check wiper
   blades.)
 * Tire pressure (Check at least every other week.)

If relevant to your vehicle’s configuration, regular tire rotation should also
be performed at each recommended interval, or at the first signs of irregular
(uneven) tread wear. A tire inspection can help determine the need for tire
rotation, something that can occur at least once between regular maintenance
intervals. Consult Mercedes-Benz of Fort Washington for specific
recommendations.

The first rotation inspection occurring at Mercedes-Benz of Fort Washington at
any time up to 5,000 miles is provided at no charge.*

*In accordance with or as otherwise recommended by your tire manufacturer’s
instructions. Rotation applies only to vehicles without staggered-width tires.
Vehicles with staggered-width tires require inspection instead of rotation.
Tires should be rotated/inspected at least once between each service visit. See
your Service Manager for details regarding your vehicle’s tires.
