 1. WELCOME
    
    West Virginia Community Advancement and Development works to encourage
    strong civic engagement through INFRASTRUCTURE, SUSTAINABILITY, COMPLIANCE,
    and RESILIENCY. WV CAD administers state and federal programs designed to
    improve the quality of life in West Virginia.


 2. INFRASTRUCTURE
    
    The INFRASTRUCTURE Unit focuses on federal and state grant funding and
    supports the expansion and growth of communities and the state. This unit
    invests funds in infrastructure, community economic development and other
    diverse opportunities given the portfolio of grant programs.

 3. SUSTAINABILITY
    
    The SUSTAINABILITY Unit is comprised of various federal and state grant
    programs focused on community growth and improvement. These programs
    contribute to community viability, while assisting individuals and families
    to become more self-sufficient and helping organizations thrive.

 4. COMPLIANCE
    
    The COMPLIANCE Unit is a supportive structure for the other units under CAD
    and the programs and staff within. The unit is an independent oversight
    component that ensures all programs meet grant compliance and monitoring
    requirements through coordination and execution of various desk-top and
    on-sight review functions.

 5. RESILIENCY
    
    The RESILIENCY Unit serves as the conduit for federal funds and initiatives
    that become available and aggressively engages in the pursuit of additional
    funds and resources to assist with long-term sustainable recovery efforts
    and long-term community and state-wide resiliency efforts.
