FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Sizing
Sleeves- Please see our Size Guide (linked below) for exact measurements, but we
do recommend the same size as whatever shirt you wear. If you wear a medium
shirt we suggest getting the S/M. If you are in between sizes (sometimes you
wear a Medium sometimes a Large) then we would suggest the smaller size. It's
better to have them be a little snug than too loose.
Straw Hats- Please see our size guide (linked below). Since the hats are
handmade there is a little size variance between each hat, but they do have an
elastic band sewn around the head opening to make up for this variance and allow
them to fit sung on most heads. The brim is 4.5" wide.
Aprons- Have hip measurements of S/M - 36.5" - 44 and L/XL - 42" - 50"
Masks and Gaiters- One size fits most.

Product Wash | Care Instructions
Sleeves- We recommend machine washing them with a strong detergent on a regular
cycle low to medium heat. Preferably with other work clothes and not any
delicate items. Make sure to use strong detergent or the resins won't come off.
They can be tumble dried on low heat but as with all clothes hang drying will
help keep the fabric nice longer. Also consider using a dryer sheet with fabric
softener to help longevity
Masks- We recommend to start by removing the filters. Then hand or machine wash
on a delicate cycle. Please only air dry. Do not machine dry as the strap and
valves can become damaged. Prior to washing, hand wash the rubber ring inside as
this may get build-up over time. Let them air dry and reattach the valves once
they are fully dry by clipping back into place.

Straw hats- Only can be hand cleaned by wiping down and should never be
submerged in water. Be cautious with pressure to the hat structure as they are
straw and being bent too much can cause cracking
Apparel- (Shirts, Hoodies, Beanies, Snapbacks) Please wash according to
manufacturer's directions on tags.
Shipping
We ship all of our products from the USA.
Shipping speeds are NOT a guarantee and DO NOT include the processing period
required to fill your order. **All orders are processed Monday through Friday.
Most orders will be processed within 24-48 hours but please allow up to 7 days
from the date your order is placed. If processing is going to be longer than 7
days you will be notified.
We will do our best to get you your packages ASAP. However there may be delays
due to incorrect address or customs clearance.
We DO NOT ship on weekends or holidays
Missing Packages
Once the item has shipped and is in the postal service's possession, any delays
or lost packages will need to be resolved with the carrier directly. If an item
shows as delivered, we can not issue any refunds. We will do our best to track
down the items or get you replacements.

with all information and we will help you get the items replaced
If your order arrives with missing items (and you have not been notified that
some items will arrive separately), please email us at help@farmersdefense.com
and we will make sure to send out the missing items.

If you have entered the incorrect address please contact us as soon as possible
and we will try our best to edit the order before the item is shipped. If the
item has already shipped we may need to wait for the package to be returned back
to us to resend out the order.
Returns & Exchanges
We have a 60-day return policy, which means you have 60 days after receiving
your item to request a return.
To start a return, you can contact us at help@farmersdefense.com and we’ll send
instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us
without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
We do stand by our products so if you have ANY questions or concerns you can
always contact us at help@farmersdefense.com.
Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item
is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item so we can evaluate the
issue and make it right.
Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items
Certain types of items cannot be returned. Any item listed as "Final Sale" or
custom products (such as special orders or personalized items). Please get in
touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Size Exchanges
We do not offer size exchange, only refunds. You can return an item for a full
refund and then place a new order for the correct item or size. To receive a
refund, items must be in the same condition that you received them, unworn or
unused, with tags attached and in its original packaging. Please check our size
guide or contact us with any questions you have before making a purchase as you
will be responsible for any return shipping and we cannot guarantee the same
pricing.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received your return. Once returned you’ll be
automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can
take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the
refund too.
General Questions
Q: Do the sleeves work for berry thorns, rose thorns and poison oak/ivy?
A: This was not our intended purpose but we have many customers using them for
this purpose that say it works great. We do stand by our products so if you
decide to try them and are unhappy for any reason please let us know and we can
refund or replace them for you. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Q: Do the Sleeves come in pairs?
A: Yes they come as a set of 2 sleeves one for each arm.
Q: Do you offer custom orders?
A: Yes we currently are able to offer custom sleeves and gaiters. If interested
please email us at sales@farmersdefense.com for more details.
Q: Do you sell Wholesale or in Bulk?
A: Yes we offer wholesale accounts to RESELLERS with a valid reseller's permit.
