WELCOME.

This is a community-driven site created to help new users get started with Dero.

Let’s get started!

(This site is still under construction.)

Dero - Privacy Together

WHAT IS DERO?

Dero is the base currency of the Dero Homomorphic Encryption Blockchain Protocol
(DHEBP).

DHEBP is an egalitarian, decentralized Proof-of-Work blockchain that
incorporates privacy features from the ground up.

This design offers developers the opportunity to build unstoppable, private
decentralized applications (dApps), while end-users enjoy complete financial
privacy.

Everyone can easily run a node and transact on the network. Since it’s
TLS-encrypted, the activity of running a node is obscured, blending in with
regular internet traffic.

Dero stands out as the first of its kind. No other blockchain combines the same
level of privacy and utility while maintaining a decentralized Proof-of-Work
structure.

WHY?

In a world where big corporations and governments seek to expand their control,
privacy is becoming increasingly difficult to maintain, yet it remains more
important than ever.

The existing financial system, along with mainstream blockchains, fails to
provide financial privacy. This is precisely why Dero was created – to address
these shortcomings.

Remember, seeking privacy is not criminal; it’s essential for true freedom.

Shouldn’t you have the liberty to spend your money, even if your views don’t
align with official agendas?

Take a few minutes to read A Cypherpunk’s Manifesto and explore the significance
of privacy in our digital age.

1.

DOWNLOAD A WALLET.

Currently, there are three options.

 1. The CLI-wallet (desktop)
 2. Engram (desktop/mobile)
 3. G45-wallet (desktop/mobile)

Engram and G45-wallet are still in the development phase, but they are
functional, powerful and easy to use.

The CLI-wallet is the original wallet. Don’t let the first look of the wallet
scare you. It’s super easy to use, and we will guide you through every step.

Below are links to each wallet and guides on how to install them.

2.

TIME TO GET SOME DERO.

There are different ways to obtain Dero:

 * Centralized exchanges
 * Decentralized exchanges
 * Mining

CENTRALIZED EXCHANGES

The most common way to get some Dero is by buying it on a centralized exchange
using either Bitcoin or USDT.

Exchanges

DECENTRALIZED EXCHANGES

Another way to acquire Dero is by bridging your Ethereum or ERC20 tokens like
USDT, USDC, or WBTC over to Dero using the bridge on DeroDEX.net. Once you have
bridged your funds to the Dero network, you can easily swap them for Dero.

MINING

You can also earn Dero rewards by allowing your computer or phone to work for
the network. By doing this, you contribute to the network’s health and security.

START USING DERO

The next step is to start using your Dero. Besides being able to transact in
complete privacy, you also have the opportunity to try out some of the dApps
built on the Dero platform.

For now, to use most of the dApps, you will need to use something called an
RPC-Bridge. Don’t worry, here is a guide.

Below are a few examples of dApps built on Dero.

DeroNFTs - A platform where you can trade NFTs and tokens
Private Islands - An unstoppable fundraiser platform
DeroDEX - Trade assets privately
