READY TO SERVE

Welcome to the Eagle River Fire Protection District website. Whether you're an
Eagle River Fire District resident or property owner, visiting for the ski or
summer seasons or traveling through on Interstate 70 while touring the West,
rest assured that you're protected by one of the best trained, well-equipped
professional fire safety agencies in Colorado.  

Organized in 2000 as a regional fire district, ERFPD is a professional,
full-service fire service agency with five full-time staffed fire stations (one
by contractual agreement) equipped to protect residences, businesses, rural
areas, high-rise resort hotels and forested areas throughout the District. ERFPD
responds to all risks including acute medical emergencies, hazardous materials
releases, technical rescue and extrication incidents, as well as suppression of
structural and wildland fires. 




MESSAGE FROM THE CHIEF

On behalf of the men and women of Eagle River Fire Protection District,  Fire
Chief Karl Bauer  we welcome you to our website and let you know that you are
protected by a modern fire agency made up of 60 full-time firefighters who are
trained in a variety of emergency response disciplines. 

 We train and prepare constantly to meet a variety of complex risks and work
hard to partner with the community to reduce the overall risk to health and
safety. Our District thanks you for your support and we welcome your comments
regarding your fire and emergency services.
