music TV entertainment.
We're the home of ROXi, the smart TV service that gives you access to 70 million
music tracks, plus all the official videos, karaoke, quizzes and games.

ROXI TIMELINE


2014

Rob Lewis founds Magic Media Works Ltd and begins building the company that
would later trade as ROXi.


2016

ROXi becomes one of only 10 companies in the world to sign global music
streaming deals with the major and independent record labels. Secures backing
from Robbie Williams, Sheryl Crow and Alesha Dixon.


2017

ROXi launches revolutionary TV-based music entertainment experience that brings
friends and family together to enjoy unlimited music, karaoke and games.


2020

ROXi secures £13m growth capital led by Sun Capital and Guy Hands, and partners
with Sky to bring ROXi to millions of Sky Q users.


2021

ROXi launches its TV music app, bringing free unlimited music videos, 70m
releases, exclusive music channels, karaoke and games to millions of connected
TV users on Sky Q, Fire TV, Android TV and Google TV.


2022

ROXi TV music app developed for Samsung Tizen and other smart TV platforms as
the company prepares for international expansion.


MEET THE TEAM

magic.works was founded by British entrepreneur Rob Lewis. Rob has established
and sold several publishing and tech ventures and is a former Ernst & Young
Entrepreneur of the Year.

The company is backed by the likes of Robbie Williams, Kylie Minogue, Ron Dennis
and Paul McGuinness (U2’s ex-manager).

Those are the headliners. But the support act ain’t bad either.
