WHAT WE DO

THE HEMINGWAY REVIEW

The Hemingway Review is a scholarly journal published twice a year by the
Hemingway Foundation and Society.  It specializes in researched scholarship on
the work and life of Ernest Hemingway.

THE LETTERS PROJECT

The Hemingway Letters Project is producing a comprehensive scholarly edition of
the author’s letters. The edition is being published by Cambridge University
Press in a projected seventeen volumes.

ONE TRUE PODCAST

Through interviews with scholars, artists, government officials, and other
luminaries, One True Podcast explores Hemingway's life, work, and world.

GRANTS

The Hemingway Society offers annual Lewis-Reynolds-Smith Founders Fellowship
grants, an emerging scholar prize, and travel grants to graduate students
and independent, unaffiliated, or disadvantaged scholars attending our
conferences. We also advise on the JFK Library Hemingway Research Grant awarded
each year.

WEBINARS AND CONFERENCES

The Hemingway Society holds biennial conferences in places significant to Ernest
Hemingway, in both U.S. and international venues. The conferences feature
scholarly and creative treatments of his life and work.

PEN / HEMINGWAY

The PEN/Hemingway Award, established in 1976 by Ernest Hemingway's widow, Mary,
is given for a novel or a book of short stories by an American author who has
not previously published a book of fiction.
