HOW YOU CAN HELP DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SURVIVORS

Tragically, in the past ten months alone, our county has mourned four femicides
that are known to be a result of domestic abuse. Additionally, our service
numbers nearly doubled from 2019 to 2020 as the need for our services
(specifically domestic violence-related services) has escalated significantly.

ABOUT US

Founded in 1977,  volunteers secured a grant to open the safe shelter, Mariposa
House. The agency continued to grow to meet the need for safe shelter and
