PERSON GOES AROUND ASKING PROFESSIONALS WHAT WEIRD QUESTIONS THEY HAVE BEEN
ASKED, DELIVERS A LIST OF THE 12 BEST ONES

Darja Zinina and
Saulė Tolstych

Knowledge is one of the most crucial aspects of human life. We’re born into this
world without knowing the basics, yet with the amount of information that is
constantly circling around us – we’re able to grow into these intelligent
creatures.

We do things for the first time; we learn about our past and our present; we
expand our creative thinking by listening to our mother’s bedtime stories – and
it all allows us to develop an understanding of life and its gripping wonders.
Some folks have a better relationship with the whole learning process, for
instance, good old math. The majority of us don’t do well with the science of
numbers, but once we come across a person who’s good with the subject, we get
taken aback by their outstanding skill.

More info: Tumblr

THERE’S NO SUCH THING AS A STUPID QUESTION, THOUGH SOMETIMES FOLKS ASK THE
ODDEST THINGS

Knowledge is knowledge, and if someone wants to fuel their mind with
information, no one should ever be ashamed to ask things. This online user has a
similar viewpoint – in fact, they have a whole collection of answers to amusing
questions that folks didn’t hesitate to ask.

THIS ONLINE USER SHARED THEIR COLLECTION OF “WEIRD” QUESTIONS THAT PEOPLE ASK
EDUCATIONAL PERSONNEL

The person began their entertaining thread by revealing that whenever they run
into educational personnel – folks that work as professors, teachers, etc. –
they like to ask a specific question: “what’s the weirdest question someone’s
ever asked you?” They share that the reason why they’re referring to the
question as “weird” and not “dumb” is because even the craziest query could have
an important answer. The author later adds that it simply warms their heart to
know that people are eager to learn things, regardless of how limited their
starting point is.

The grand opening for this excellent collection is a question that an art museum
host managed to receive from one of the visitors: a thought-provoking sentence
that could trigger an existential crisis if read too many times, which
entertained the gallery employee to the point where he thought that it’d be a
marvelous title for an artwork.

It’s understandable that asking a question, whether you believe it to be
ridiculous or not, puts us in a vulnerable position. Folks are afraid to expose
themselves as no one knows if they’ll get judged or scolded for being a fool.
It’s a life-harming habit that hinders us and makes it difficult to celebrate
our existence.

Society has trained us to believe that it’s an absolute must to be a responsible
and all-knowing individual that doesn’t require help every once in a while. Our
ability to unapologetically ask things was the very first step that helped us to
get to where we are now. Just imagine what kind of questions and the amount of
our never-ending “why’s” our parents had to endure.

Yet, nobody ever thought about pointing out how weird our questions might’ve
sounded. Our family understood that we were growing and trying to comprehend
what this thing called life is, so why is it so shameful now? A lot of people
don’t have their lives figured out, plus it’s highly impossible to know
everything there is to our existence. Each person specializes in their own
subject and it’s normal to exchange information, no matter how odd you think you
might look.

Knowing things is wonderful, so why should you limit yourself? Of course,
there’ll be a few individuals that’ll act as if you’re asking something too
unorthodox, but folks like that could be encountered at any point of your life,
whether you barrier yourself from them or not. Moreover, by asking something
creative, you can brighten the day of multiple people without even knowing it,
just like folks from this thread did.

FELLOW USERS WERE AMUSED BY THE INQUIRIES, AND SOME SHARED THEIR OWN EXPERIENCES

My dad and I used to do Civil War reenactments when I was in high school. Gave
us some bonding time (embarrassed me to death though when he had to "escort" me
to the porta-a-johns because females were not allowed to go anywhere
unaccompanied....another story). We got so many ridiculous questions. My
favorite, as we were sitting around a campfire, "Is that a real fire?" Seeings
how I am a professional firefighter (and professional smart ass) I answered,
"No. Sadly we can't figure out how they started fired back then."

The t-rex bbq story is the best. I love how seriously they took it and yes I

My brother, when little (6 I think) couldn't come up with the word "milk" so he
