When crafting content I consider the purpose, urgency, source, tone and reader’s
perspective to coalesce into a clear and effective message.

For over 20 years I have worked as an IT professional. I have supported
networks, programmed, developed websites, solved enumerable problems and
provided many solutions.

With broad and deep technology experience I am comfortable learning, translating
and communicating IT for any intended audience.
Marketing

My interest in business, psychology, communication and influencing extends to
marketing, UI/UX design, and copywriting ─ which fascinate me.

Extensive study of these subjects provides me with inexhaustible resources to

The approach, voice and attitude of a message or document lays the foundation,
which – to a great extent, determines communication effectiveness.

Before crafting a message, the subject and approach must be understood. Each
project includes unique objectives and criteria, and requires an appropriate
voice.

Regardless of my familiarity with a subject I first seek to understand. The
organization mentality, subject qualities, purpose, target persona and the
message context are all important in determining an optimal approach.

I take the above into consideration and use analytical and creative thinking to
resolve my voice, attitude and approach.

I am there for the mission. Technical writing isn't just writing, it's using
understanding, skill and technology to present and communicate effectively. I
will do whatever it takes (e.g. research, troubleshoot, learn, test, etc.) to
provide a superior result.

It is not enough to develop knowledge and skill. Everything is in a state of
flux, change, evolution. The incessant process of atrophy demands we continually
improve or suffer diminishing value.

My personal standards are equally pervasive. My results represent me. I
therefore strive to make everything I produce my best effort.

Mastering a subject or skill is important to me. I have amassed an extensive
library of courses and books – which I study frequently. My library provides
inexhaustible resources to further my understanding in technical writing,
design, copywriting, persuasion, psychology, and related. My library is
exceptional, from top experts in each field.
It is not enough to develop a knowledge base and skill set. Everything is in a
state of flux, change, evolution. The incessant process of atrophy demands we
continually improve or suffer diminishing value.

is important to me. My solutions and creations represent me. I therefore strive
