HUNTINGTON CENTRAL PARK Located at 18002 Goldenwest Street, Huntington Central Park is the largest city owned park in all of Orange County. It covers 343 acres of land and includes: Picnic areas, playgrounds, Shipley Nature Center, fishing, disc (Frisbee) golf, horseshoes, Adventure Playground, equestrian trails, Amphitheater, dog park, exercise course, restrooms, and two cafes. BEACH AND WATERSPORTS Surf, kayak, paddleboard, skimboard, bodyboard, body surf, swim, or just enjoy the 8.5 miles of sandy beach. Huntington Beach Beaches BEACH VOLLEY BALL There are tons of volleyball nets on the sands of Huntington Beach State Beach, Huntington Beach City Beach, and Bolsa Chica State Beach. The AVP Volleyball Tournament also uses Huntington Beach as one of its tour stops every year. SEGWAY/ELECTRIC BIKE/BEACH CRUISER Take a ride through Huntington Beach on a Segway, electric bike, or beach cruiser. There are several places that rent Segways, electric bikes, and beach cruisers in Huntington Beach. You can also find guided tours in the area. HUNTINGTON BEACH PIER Visit Huntington Beach’s iconic pier. Here you will find restaurants, souvenir shops, as well as spectacular coastline views from the pier. The Huntington Beach Pier is also a popular fishing area. HUNTINGTON BEACH INTERNATIONAL SURFING MUSEUM It only makes sense that a city known as “Surf City” would have an International Surfing Museum. The Huntington Beach International Surfing Museum is at 411 Olive Avenue at the intersection of Olive and 5th. It is open from 12:00-5:00 p.m. every day except it’s closed on Mondays. Please check website to confirm. The cost is $2.00/pp. SURF CITY NIGHTS Surf City Nights is Orange County’s largest weekly street fair and farmers’ market. Surf City Nights features over 90 vendors, live music, as well as street performers. This event takes place 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. every Tuesday and is free to the public. Check their website for calendar of events and performers. HUNTINGTON BEACH ART CENTER Visit the Huntington Beach Art Center at 538 Main Street. OLD WORLD VILLAGE Huntington Beach’s Old World Village is at 7561 Center Avenue near the 405 Freeway and Beach Blvd. Old World Village is home of international shops, restaurants, and festivals such as Oktoberfest. BOLSA CHICA ECOLOGICAL RESERVE The Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve is a 1,445-acre wildlife area operated by the California Department of Fish & Game.
