& European timbers for furniture-making, joinery and building works. We champion
the use of woods sourced from sustainable silvicultural management. We believe

We’re English Woodlands Timber, a timber merchant specialising in sourcing,
conversion & bespoke supply of English & European timber for furniture making,
joinery and building works.
At our woodyard in West Sussex our 2500m2 stock sheds hold a huge range of
homegrown species inc. Oak, Elm, Chestnut, Ash, Douglas Fir, Larch & Cedar in
waney-edge & square-edge for customers to self-select assisted by friendly,
knowledgeable staff whose mission is to make it as easy as possible for you to
buy beautiful timber.
The sourcing of extraordinary timber for specialist woodworking is a particular
feature of our supply and service is at the heart of everything we do. Our fully
equiped 350m2 workshop provides bespoke machining services for wide boards
aswell as cut to size (CTS), planed all round (PAR) + profile and moulding
production for furniture, joinery & timber cladding.
We hold a chain of custody (CoC) for 3 certification schemes, PEFC, FSC & Grown
in Britain. We actively promote and encourage the use of homegrown softwood and
hardwood timbers from well managed woodlands.
We believe it all starts with the trees.
