PLATINUM JUBILEE CELEBRATIONS IN 2022

Celebrations will take place later this year as Her Majesty The Queen becomes
the first British Monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee.

The Jubilee will take place over an extended four-day bank holiday weekend
between Thursday 2 June to Sunday 5 June.

BARNARDO'S UKRAINIAN SUPPORT HELPLINE

In response to the ongoing crisis, Barnardo's has set up the Ukrainian Support
Helpline to provide a holistic support service. The helpline is free and
available to anyone fleeing the conflict in Ukraine. Call 0800 148 8586 for
support.

The helpline is staffed by English, Ukrainian and Russian speakers, to offer
support to children and families arriving in the UK from Ukraine. It is open
Monday - Friday (10:00am - 8:00pm) and Saturday (10:00am - 3:00pm). Callers will
be able to get help and advice on a range of topics.

Basildon Council will shortly begin to issue payments to Direct Debit customers
who are eligible for the government's £150 energy rebate. Those who do not pay
