We use ziplock bags in many ways in cooking - to marinate meats for grilling, to freeze fresh shrimp and fish in a little water, to freeze soups and stews for future meals. The acrylic is pliable enough to fasten the ziplock bag to the stand and sturdy enough to hold the ziplock bag in place while filling it. One thing we really like is that it is easy to store. We store it in the kitchen drawer where we keep plastic containers that easily fit around and in the middle of the Zip Quicker. This is a great product!!! Would definitely recommend it to others!
