ABOUT THE AUTHOR


WHO IS
D. SHERRIE HOPKINS

Sherrie was born and raised in Charleston, West Virginia with four sisters, and
their family traveled extensively because of her Dad’s unique self-employed
international business of dismantling large obsolete power plants. She has lived
and attended schools in Seattle, Washington and Coral Gables, Florida among many
other states that she’s lived for a short periods of time. She pursued her
higher education at the University of Charleston where she began studies in
early childhood education. She and her sisters were in high school and college
at the same time. After only two years, she decided to attend a business college
while working part time. Later, inspired by her aunt and uncle who were
missionaries in Peru, South America she moved to Texas to spend quality time
with their family when they were on a hiatus. During her year-long stay, she
attended a school of cosmetology.
