The first in a three-part webinar series with Sarah Wilson a Partner at Bevan
Brittan. In this webinar, Sarah Wilson will provide an Introduction to NEC
suite. This webinar will be a high-level start to this years’ programme and is
aimed at those who are new to NEC but also as a refresher to those who use it
generally.

The webinar will cover:

 * The NEC suite of contracts and how it works
 * The unique parts of NEC
 * The tricky parts of NEC that must be complied with

SARAH WILSON, PARTNER AT BEVAN BRITTAN

Sarah Wilson specialises in construction and engineering, advising a wide range
of clients within the construction sectors, including contractors, specialist
subcontractors, engineers and architects, local authorities and developers.



Sarah works in a wide range of sectors, including infrastructure, housing,
student accommodation and office developments, waste and energy and covers all
the major forms of contract, particularly NEC, JCT, IChemE and FIDIC, as well as
bespoke contracts.



Sarah does a variety of work – from drafting and negotiating contracts, to the
project management of legal issues throughout the life of the contract to
resolving disputes, usually through settlement, mediation, adjudication or
court/arbitration proceedings.



Sarah also deliviers programmes of seminars on topical issues to a variety of
trade and professional organisations, including CECA North East and CECA
Yorkshire and the Humber, CIOB, and CIHT.
