RACHEL PETERSON, MA, LAMFT

I specialize in providing people living with diabetes mental health support that
empowers them to use their strengths to get through challenges. Helping those
with diabetes is my passion. As an individual living with diabetes, I understand
the unique challenges this condition presents. Working with children, adults,
and families has informed my understanding of how diabetes impacts each stage of
life. I work with those who have diabetes, eating disorders, anxiety or
depression. Mental health concerns are systemic in nature. Therefore, a
diagnosis of diabetes impacts those within the entire family system. I started
Beyond Diabetes Care as a solution to the many problems Diabetes creates.
