AAKOZIIWIGAMIG: AN OJIBWE RADIO DRAMA The University of Winnipeg (Wii Chiiwaakanak Learning Centre, Indigenous Engagement, and the Oral History Centre), the University of Manitoba, Indigenous Languages of Manitoba, Native Communications Inc. Radio (NCI) and Mazinaate Publishing have collaborated on an Indigenous Language radio show. TEACHING INDIGENOUS LANGUAGES In collaboration with the University of Winnipeg and the Indigenous Languages of Manitoba, the Teaching Indigenous Languages program was developed to teach courses specific to Anishinaabemowin (Ojibwe) and Ininimowin (Cree). MÉTIS GRADUATE STUDENT RECEIVES CIHR SCHOLARSHIP UW Métis MDP Student Alexandra Nychuk has received the prestigious Frederick Banting and Charles Best Canada Graduate Scholarship Master’s Award INDIGENIZATION @ UWINNIPEG Indigenization is one of the strategic initiatives taken by the University of Winnipeg ABORIGINAL STUDENT SERVICES CENTRE Information about Academics, Supports, and Liaison Services offered through the ASSC. The Office of Indigenous Engagement at the University of Winnipeg provides a number of different events, programs, and supports for faculty, staff, students, and community members.
