Last week, Pizza Hut presented Singaporean foodies with its latest and rather
befuddling creation — a BBT-flavoured Bubble Tea Blossom Pizza. And now, local
pizza chain Pezzo has teamed up with salted egg snack specialist Irvins to offer
a limited-edition Irvins Salted Egg Pizza.

According to a press release, the Irvins Salted Egg Pizza has “pizza dough
layered with a generous amount of Irvins Salted Egg Sauce, then blanketed with a
potpourri of Irvins Fish Skin Krumbs and mozzarella cheese”.

It sounds like a decent, if tame, combination of crunchy, creamy toppings on a
pillowy crust. The pizza is supposed to taste like a union of “Skin Krumbs’
spicy hint, the mozzarella’s salty tang and the salted egg sauce’s savoury
punch”. Perhaps the salty saviour we need after BBT pizza.
