"Likely as one of the platform’s longest clients (20+ years) my loyalty is a
reflection of my highest regard for the service. It is simply the best in my
area of expertise, Emerging Europe."
Timothy Ash
EM Sovereign Strategist
Bluebay AM
"One of the best resources when you need to find out the main news themes in a
country in recent months – and if read every day probably keeps negative
surprises to a minimum."
Charles Robertson
Head of Macro Strategy
FIM Partners UK Ltd
"EmergingMarketWatch has been an essential source for my work in covering
numerous countries in emerging Europe. Their local network and knowledge is
comprehensive, allowing their analysts to provide timely and high-quality
reports/analyses on macro, politics, and any any topical issues/crises in their
countries of coverage. I also appreciate their super responsive and proactive
approach in their publication as well as answers to questions raised to them."
Mai Doan
EM Strategist
Bank of America Merrill Lynch
"With budgets under constant review, we have cut most third party
subscriptions…except Emergingmarketwatch, which I find indispensable and
invaluable in my coverage of EMEA macroeconomics. Their analysts have deep
familiarity with the local market and sources of information and are very
resourceful and timely in answering my specific questions to them."
Tatha Ghose
Senior EM Economist
Commerzbank
"EMW is a relevant piece in our decision-making process. It provides insightful
analysis on top of daily local news overview"
Luisa Shu
EM Economist
Kapitalo Investments
"EmergingMarketWatch has become an important source of EM news / economic
releases / political developments. I particularly appreciate very responsive and
well-informed team of economists who assist with specific questions. Overall,
EmergingMarketWatch offering is very helpful, particularly when covering a large
universe of countries"
Jure Jeric
EM Cross-Asset Strategist
Bank of America Merrill Lynch
"The product is great, and the website is my first stop every morning. The team
is very prolific, particularly with the less well-covered countries in the EMEA
space. They catch a lot of news and developments I would have otherwise missed,
and I often find myself going back to double check a lot of the local and
external debt figures they report. I also like how easy it is to ask questions,
and the team is always back with a good response within a few hours."
Brian Seel
EM Economist
Promeritum IM
"I really enjoy using EmergingMarketWatch and one of the most important things
for me is the ability to stay on top of developments across a number of
countries at the same time. Being able to access key information in one place is
very convenient. I also like looking at the “questions asked” section which of
course provides the answers but also highlights mood/what’s on the mind among
other economic agents."
Maxim Rybnikov
Director EMEA Sovereign Ratings
S&P
"EmergingMarketWatch has been instrumental in ensuring that latest economic and
political information is accurately reported to me in a timely manner. They have
been able to provide an informed analysis about the events that have unfolded
and overall contributed to my work by allowing me to rely on them as a source
for external information in relation to certain EM markets."
Kevin Orpen
Sovereign Credit Risk
ICBC
"The first email that I read in the morning is Emerging Market Watch Morning
Review. It helps me to prepare for a new day."
Dumitru Vicol
CEEMEA FX, Rates & Credit Strategist
Citi
"Comprehensive and timely coverage of local, geopolitical and macro news in a
broad range of emerging market economies. Strong political analysis, end of day
roundup of main events and forward looking calendar and central bank watch. Very
good at responding to ad-hoc requests with detailed information and resources."
Yuri Benelli
Emerging Market Rates Trader
Societe Generale
"EmergingMarketWatch is my first port of call for local colour in the CEE
region. I particularly appreciate the Q&A service and the lightning fast
response time."
Gabor Ambrus
Senior EM Economist

"The EmergingMarketWatch service has become a key factor in my framework when
researching EM countries. In particular, daily summaries of local news are
always helpful."
Filip Denchev

"We have been using EmergingMarketWatch (previously CEEMarketWatch) for more
than five years. This is a great research initiative covering all EMs in all
time zones. EmergingMarketWatch helps us to be on top of all headlines (both
political and economic) related to EMs, and also gives us a great local flavour
as almost all editors are located in their coverage countries. Moreover,
EmergingMarketWatch has an extensive database, which is great, especially when
you need some specific data that is hard to find in mainstream data providers."

EM Research Team
HSBC
"Great one-stop-shop source for EM news and analysis. User friendly website and
responsive analysts."
Ludvig Soderling
EM Portfolio Manager
CDPQ
"EmergingMarketWatch has quickly become my key go-to source for a quick catch up
on events and data releases across the emerging markets, particularly via the
morning update. Commentary throughout the day is also timely and accurate.
Analysts respond quickly and thoroughly when I have raised a question, and I
appreciate the quality of the longer update pieces."

EM Sovereign Strategist
Australian-based Asset Manager
"I would like to thank EmergingMarketWatch for their coverage of CEE. The number
of CEE media outlets that report in English has fallen since the global
financial crisis and the EMW does a great job in covering the most important
news from the region."
Dan Bucsa
Chief CEE Economist
Unicredit

WHAT WE DO?

EmergingMarketWatch (formerly CEEMarketWatch) offers a unique EM research
product, which over the past decade has become a primary source for nearly all
major investment banks. Our coverage blends the speed and detail of newswires
with the knowledge and insight of our local economists. We provide extensive
daily coverage of over 60 emerging markets and periphery euro area countries
tailored to the needs of economists and fund managers.

Research
 * Research

We cover extensively macroeconomic developments, providing a meaningful
summary, background, and interpretation of the data. This is combined with
our view of key economic developments, which is often influenced by local
expertise and may differ from the consensus. We pay close attention to
politics, and about 30% of our notes are political. Our political analysis is
especially valuable in smaller economies where local politics is complex and
   often undercovered.

 * Local knowledge

Our economists often live in the countries they cover and they have extensive
knowledge of the local political and economic environment. Our detailed
political coverage is often unmatched, especially for small economies outside
   the scope of most research.

 * Market-moving news
Our coverage focuses on market-moving events especially relevant for bond and
forex markets. Our key topics are macroeconomics, fiscal and monetary policy,
the banking system and financial markets, politics.

 * Data

We maintain our own economic database, which is updated in real time and
helps our economic analysis. It is used to generate an extensive set of
charts and tables that often accompany our notes. For smaller economies we
manually collect hard-to-find data, which is often unavailable elsewhere. We
often receive data requests from our clients as part of our 'Ask the Editor'
feature and we are always ready to share what we have at no extra charge.

 * Customized delivery

Clients typically read our research in e-mails or on our website. We have a
highly customizable system that allows e-mail reports to be sent for a
customised group of countries at selected temporal frequencies. Our flagship
product is our morning report sent at 7:00 London time, but we also provide
an evening summary, weekly reports, and continuous intraday real-time
coverage. The website is optimised for fast browsing of our research and
allows for the generation of tailor-made PDF reports. Both e-mails and the
website are likewise optimised for use on mobile devices.

OUR CLIENTS

Our core clients are EM desks at large investment banks, the majority of which
subscribe to our services. We have grown our client base over the years to
include buy-side firms, government organizations and IFI's, and rating agencies.
With the introduction of MIFID II, we have seen greater demand for our services
from buy-side firms as it is an attractive alternative to bank research. Our
product is most useful to people with a professional interest in a country,
including economists, strategists, portfolio managers, and macro traders.

INVESTMENT BANKS

BUY-SIDE FUNDS

CENTRAL BANKS AND IFIS

RATING AGENCIES

 * Investment banks

Large investment banks have traditionally been our core clients. For many
years now, economists and strategists have read our report first thing in the
morning for an overview of market-moving events. We believe our product suits
   their needs well because:

   - We produce detailed reports, often at the speed of newswires
   - We cover a wide range of countries in great detail and have built extensive
   expertise in local politics
   - We provide access to our analysts for unlimited questions at no extra
   charge.

 * Buy-side funds

We have a growing subscriber base among buy-side funds. They view our product
as a complementary service to bank research, often providing unmatched
detail, local flavor, and expertise. After MIFID II, some have also chosen us
as a major EM research provider. We believe our product is good for funds
   because:

   - We produce detailed daily reports on macroeconomic and political
   developments in EMEA and elsewhere
   - We are locally based and often provide a view alternative to the consensus
   - We cover small economies that remain outside the scope of most services but
   sometimes offer exceptional investment opportunities.

 * Central banks and IFIs

Central banks and International Financial Institutions (IFIs) are a growing
part of our client portfolio. They value our product for the detailed
coverage of relevant news, the local perspective, and in depth economic
   research.

 * Rating agencies

The big rating agencies value our product for the wide range of countries
covered and the detailed coverage of topics relevant to sovereign credit
analysis. Our mix of topics includes macroeconomic releases, fiscal and
monetary policies, the banking sector, financial markets, and politics.

REGIONS WE COVER

Our company started with a focus on the emerging economies of Eastern Europe and
has especially strong expertise in countries like Poland, Turkey, Russia, the
Czech Republic, and Hungary. Since then, we have expanded to cover markets in
Middle East and Africa, Latin America, Asia and the Euro Area periphery. Along
with the key markets, we are highly valued for coverage of small countries where
information is hard to find and news reports often do not make sense without
local expertise.

As emerging markets develop, we are constantly adjusting our coverage to meet
the needs of clients. Looking ahead, our next step will be to expand coverage
within the regions we cover, especially focusing on Asia, LatAm and MEA.
