* What are common problems chiropractors help with?
Chiropractors are primary care doctors and can help with and manage a variety
of conditions. This is also why no referral is necessary to see a
chiropractor.
Chiropractors commonly help with conditions such as:

* Can my newborn or child have a Bio-Structural Examination?
Yes. In fact, some of our youngest practice members are just days old.
Many bio-structural challenges that people face today can be traced to early
in life and, in some cases, as early as their own birth.
Developmental experts agree that having your child’s spine and nerve system
checked early in life is one of the most important healthcare measures a
parent can help support healthy structural and neurological development.
As children development they pass through many milestones that require a
properly coordinated spine and nervous system.
Children also have lots of accidents, falls and stresses on their bodies that
can lead to pain and other long-term consequences.
It’s important to note that children cannot always express what they’re
feeling and an evaluation from a professional can be helpful to their health.

We always start with a thorough consultation and Bio-Structural Examination
to determine if we can help.
It is safe to perform the Bio-Structural Examination as well as receive
chiropractic care during your pregnancy.
Prenatal chiropractic helps to support the structural and soft tissue changes
a woman’s body experiences during pregnancy.
As a result of addressing spinal shifts, expecting mothers who undergo
prenatal chiropractic care at The Powerhouse report a decrease in the “usual”
pregnancy symptoms such as low back pain and muscle fatigue.
Proper spinal alignment also ensures that the expecting mother’s pelvis is
properly aligned for birth and helping the uterus coordinate contractions
during active labour.
All of our doctors are certified to use the Webster Technique.
* How much will it cost?
To ensure you are in the correct place and that we can help, our consultation
is always complimentary.
If a Bio-Structural Examination is required and you would like to continue,
the investment is $167 for adults and $147 for children, 12 and under. Your
investment includes the examination, analysis and comprehensive review of
results.
If you are fortunate enough to have extended health coverage, this will
reduce your personal investment. Our team can issue an itemized receipt of
services for your insurance provider.
* How long will it take?
A consultation will take about 10 minutes.
When warranted, a comprehensive Bio-Structural Examination will take 20 – 30
minutes.
If a Core Problem is detected, the number of required visits will be based on
3 factors:
1. Your goal and objectives.
2. Your current state of bio-structural function.
3. How long you have had this Core Problem.

The front staff and Doctors are absolutely lovely including the clinic dog
too. This is a process worth staying the course! I am experiencing far better
posture, an increased ability to exercise and in general feeling better since
starting treatment at the Powerhouse.

I am currently 7.5mo pregnant and have dealt with chronic pelvic pain since
week 10 of my pregnancy. I tried everything to alleviate some of the pain but
nothing worked… until i tried chiropractic’s ! What a game changer. After the
first session I could walk with WAY more ease and finally started to feel
like myself again. I am absolutely floored at how well this worked and would

Friendly, warm staff, and a very efficient operation. The initial
consultation was effective with diagnosis of a few key problems and treatment

The person I was when I walked into Powerhouse for the first time and the
person I am now after 4 months of treatments are as far apart as the east is
from the west. Years of suffering from nerve pain had taken its toll on my
body and outlook on life but the tender care and support from Drs Thea and
Brian and the PW team were exactly the medicine I needed to start the track
back to health - mental and physical! After 13 different specialists and

The premise behind Power House is a simple one - treat the core problem, not
only the symptoms. Simple perhaps, but I have never encountered such thorough

Update: I've been attending The Powerhouse for months now, I completed my
initial 11 weeks/twice a week and im so happy with my improvements. Not only
do I no longer have constant irritation between my shoulders and neck but I
feel taller with more range of motion in my spine and more. I can't say
enough good about The Powerhouse. I saw a Chiropractor before here and I felt
like a number, in and out. I am amazed at the technology and assessments done
to see exactly where adjustments need to happen, it's not a guessing game.
They're very friendly and the overall care makes me very hopeful to get back
to full health. I feel like a million bucks after every visit and I can feel
my body readjusting. I'd give 10 stars if I could, I highly recommend them.

By the end of my pregnancy I was in so much pain that I was almost unable to
walk, decided to start treatment and after a couple of weeks I was feeling
perfectly, had no pain and felt ready to deliver my baby, I feel so good

Completed a treatment plan here and the difference between the before and
after was amazing. A huge improvement of many of my symptoms including the
elimination of years of neck pain, sleep troubles and brain fog to name a

Love the environment, it's absolutely amazing.
I've been with powerhouse chiropractic since August and they give you advice
on stretches , have follow up exams every few weeks depending on how long
you'll need correcting.
Dr. Dax is great with giving advice on stretches and is concerned about any
pain you may have.
Dr.brian corrects you just right and is great for any questions you have.
Dr.T is so gentle and is fabulous on showing you where to use a foam roller
and giving any advice on how to improve your movements!
Their all amazing in there own ways.
Members at the front desk are also very welcoming and social!
