With regulations and entry requirements changing on a seemingly daily basis, the confusion among operators – and those authorities forced to implement the rules – continues to wreak havoc within flight operations. This session will review first-hand experiences of those traveling during the madness, including the best practices and lessons learned along the way. You’ll also receive further guidance on how to navigate the tricky new world of international flying as the virus transitions from a pandemic to endemics. 10 A.M. – 10:30 A.M. Take a look at an e-plotting SOP adaptation to ensure crews will maintain optimal situational awareness and capability, despite the complexity and variations of these new app technologies. Explore the FAA’s expected performance and capabilities, and gain an understanding of AC 91-70C Oceanic Operations, which has been updated to include these topics and concerns. 3:30 P.M. – 4 P.M.
