TEA RELEASES SPRING 2024 STAAR EOC RESULTS


The Texas Education Agency released the spring 2024 State of Texas Assessments
of Academic Readiness End-of-Course assessment results.


COUNTY TO SEEK NATIONAL GRANT FOR ROADS, BRIDGES


In an effort to improve various county bridges and roads, Young County will form
a committee to work on applying for national grant money to aid in projects.


COUNTY HISTORIAN PRESENTS QR CODE CONCEPT FOR GRAHAM HISTORIC BUILDINGS


A proof of concept for a scannable, window display QR code was presented last
week by Young County historian Dorman Holub as a way to promote the history of
downtown Graham. 


ADDITIONS, CORRECTIONS REQUESTED FOR NEW CENTURY VETERANS MEMORIAL WALL


Each year, the New Century Veterans Memorial board seeks new and corrected names
for the memorial wall at the Young County Courthouse, and that deadline is
approaching at the end of June.

a new girls basketball coach.

state competition in a few weeks.


FOUR LADY BLUES EARN STATE SOFTBALL RECOGNITION


The accolades continue to come in for four members of the Graham Lady Blues
softball team despite the season ending nearly a month ago.

Although summer break began just a couple weeks ago, fall sports seasons will be
