He rose as an independent artist, springing in from Kansas City.

Tech N9ne has proceeded to build a Strange Music world and he has definitely
continued his prolific spree.

Tech revealed a new EP, N9NA Collection 2 “zip download”, and it features four
new songs.

Tech N9ne’s new N9NA album is slated for an April 19, 2019 release. The 21-track
effort is a direct response to comments the pioneering Kansas City rapper has
gotten from his rabid supporters.

“Fans have been asking for an album centered around just Tech N9ne with minimal
features, so I give them N9NA,” Tech N9ne explains. “This is me, wholeheartedly.
It’s something for my die-hard fans and an introduction for all newcomers. I’m
rapping like never before – like I’ve never sold a Gold or Platinum record.”

N9NA is available on iTunes for pre-order HERE. Fans who pre-order N9NA will
receive eight Instagrat tracks from N9NA Collection 1 and N9NA Collection 2.
Those who order aphysical copy of N9NA from Strange Music here will get the
Instagrat track “Disparagement” featuring Krizz Kaliko and King ISO.

Tech N9ne plans to release music videos for several N9NA tracks: “Like I Ain’t,”
“EF U (Easier For You)” featuring Krizz Kaliko and Jelly Roll, “I Caught Crazy!
(4Ever),” “Disparagement” featuring Krizz Kaliko and King ISO, and “N9NA.”

N9NA features 13 new tracks, as well as eight songs released as part of N9NA
Collection 1and N9NA Collection 2.

A week before N9NA arrives, Tech N9ne will hit the road to headline the “It Goes
Up Tour 2019.” In addition to Tech N9ne (along with Krizz Kaliko), the tour will
feature DAX, ¡Mayday!, and UBI of Ces Cru. Slated to hit 55 cities in the United
States, including Chicago, Los Angeles, Houston, Denver, Seattle, and Phoenix,
the tour is scheduled to launch April 11 in Omaha, Nebraska. The “It Goes Up
Tour 2019” is set to conclude June 19 in Wichita, Kansas.

While on the “It Goes Up Tour 2019,” Tech N9ne will be celebrating the expanded
presence of Bou Lou, a collaboration with Boulevard Brewing Company. Inspired by
his hit song “Caribou Lou,” Bou Lou is a wheat beer infused with pineapple,
coconut, and rum flavors. Following a successful limited release in 2018, Bou
Lou will be available in stores throughout Boulevard’s distribution footprint
and at most stops on the “It Goes Up Tour 2019.”

Tech N9ne is the most successful independent artist in rap history. His “Caribou
Lou” single was certified platinum in 2017, while his “Hood Go Crazy” and
“Fragile” singles were both certified gold in 2016. The Missouri rapper started
2019 with back-to-back tours in Europe and Canada with Krizz Kaliko. His
European trek took him to more than 15 countries, including England, France,
Russia, Sweden, and Ireland.

Tech N9ne is among the game’s most accomplished entrepreneurs, and that cannot
be debated. Rising from an independent artist kicking it in Kansas City with
drops like Anghellic and Absolute Power, Tech proceeded to build a Strange Music
empire. Now, continuing his prolific spree, Tech has unveiled a new EP, N9NA
Collection 2, which features four new tracks. The project, which follows last
November’s opening chapter, kicks off on a darkly inspirational note with “I
Caught Crazy,” which finds Tech reflecting on his mental giant status over
melancholic guitars.

While “F.T.I 2.0” and the King ISO-assisted “Death Threats” have had a moment to
resonate, “EDI’s” finds Tech taking to a smothering synth riff. His signature
flow has yet to falter, becoming even more technical with time. The
multi-syllabic bars arrive in nonstop fashion, with Tech painting images of
drug-trips and free-reign love. “Cause we the Scheiße, that shit in German, I’m
lit and burnin’ like back in the day when I was trippin’ Sherman,” he spits,
with ample “cheyas” for good measure.

Aaron Dontez Yates (born November 8, 1971),[2] better known by his stage name
Tech N9ne (pronounced “tech nine”), is an American rapper, singer, songwriter,
record producer, actor, and entrepreneur. In 1999, he and business partner
Travis O’Guin founded the record label Strange Music. He has sold over two
million albums and has had his music featured in film, television, and video
games.[3] In 2009, he won the Left Field Woodie award at the mtvU Woodie
Awards.[4]

His stage name originated from the TEC-9 semi-automatic handgun, a name given to
him by rapper Black Walt due to his fast-rhyming Chopper style.[5] Yates later
applied a deeper meaning to the name, claiming that it stands for the complete
technique of rhyme, with “tech” meaning technique and “nine” representing the
number of completion.
